위치는 최고였지만...
아무리 기본room이지만.. 너무나 협소한 룸. 게다가 방음이전혀안되서 복도지나는 발자국소리까지 객실에서 다 들리고..난방까지 안되서..호텔측에 알려줬더니..직원이 2~3차례 직접 방에와서 난방 확인후 문제있음을 인정하고 약간 더 큰방으로 옮겨줌.. 객실배정하기 전에 미리 확인해야함이 상식인데..많이 아쉬웠음 그래도 체크아웃후에 벨보이가 직접 수하물을 역까지 옮겨주는 서비스는 아주 만족스러웠음

중앙역에서도 가깝고 마리안광장 걸어가기도 좋아요 백화점 뮐러 DM 다 근처에 있구요 시설은 침실 욕실 그리고 옷 걸어두고 할수있는 방이 또 따로 되어있어서 좋았구요 욕실에 욕조도 있어 정말 좋았습니다 시설이 너무 맘에 들었어요 다음에 오게된다면 또 방문할거예요

중심가에 위치한 깨끗하고 예쁜 호텔
우선 호텔이 위치한 지역이 중심가랑 매우 가까워 어디든 도보로 이동 가능한 수준이었습니다. 그리고 호텔 인테리어나 청결 상태도 매우 좋았고 직원들의 친절함도 만족할 만한 수준 이었습니다. 다시 뮌헨에 가게 될 일이 있다면 또 이용하고 싶습니다.

Rooms facing the main street is noisy, the mattresses need changing, the hot and cold water in the bath is difficult to manage, either too hot and too cold and the plumbing makes a terrible noise all night. The restaurant is very nice though

The hotel is very close to München central station and convenient. The room we were using was large enough and the interior was nice. But window is not sound proof and the room was very noisy from trams and other traffic.

Great area. Beautiful hotel. Everything is wonderful in regards to the location, shopping, things to do and see but they definitely need to update the property. Just a little dated in the rooms but I still had a wonderful stay. The breakfast and bar had excellent food. The bar/restaurant were located in the lobby.

Det var byggearbeider rett ved siden av rommet og det ble satt igang kl 0700 om morgenen. Fikk ikke noe informasjon om dette. Ikke spesielt hyggelig resepsjonsbetjening. Fikk omsider flyttet rom som var bedre selv om det var i samme klasse. Måtte mase meg til dette.

Very convenient to the main train station and an easy walk to Marienplatz, but the windows are not great for sound insulation from the trolley line. Hotel is clean and very nice, and the bed was very comfortable. The heater was adjustable (and worked). The adjustable shower head was difficult to fix where needed and often sprays water on the floor, but this seems common for European hotels.

The parking situation is terrible due to construction the hotel is very diffcult to locate with GPS , but once you get inside of the hotel the service is five star and staff is highly professional and do their best to meet every single one of your needs. Very Respectfully Matthew A. Jackson

Grand old hotel
Pros: staff excellent, friendly and most helpful with dining recommendations, directions and using the trains. Elegant setting and dining and Vinotek were excellent. Great location one block from main train station. Easy walk to various old Munich locations, dining and shopping. Cons: Dated. Rooms were stuffy and over warm. Hot water in shower fluctuated constantly almost to scalding. No switchable current for 110 appliances. Adapters and a transformer are a must. Comforters on beds heavy and hot. Entrance somewhat hidden off main thoroughfare. Over priced for the accommodations. Would stay again just for the location and staff.

Good: room was spacious and clean, location is within walking distance of Marienplatz and Oktoberfest, and close to train station. Bad: bathtub water didn't drain, came back at 11pm and asked for an extra blanket and pillow and was told they were closed. There’s also no food on the hotel after hours.

The staff are outstanding - really friendly and helpful. Thank you. The rooms are well appointed - worth paying for the slightly larger double room. The restaurant - is excellent - but beware, the kitchen it closes early and it’s not open Sunday or Monday. Otherwise, highly recommend.

The rooms were attractive, spacious and clean. But our rooms were on the street side, and the constant noise from the streetcars and people partying on the street was like they were in the room. There was no sleep to be had. There is no A/C in the room, but windows had to be closed, and even with earplugs in, the noise was unbearable. The only upside to this was that we were so tired on our flight home, we actually slept!

Wonderful hotel in Munich.The staff at the Excelsior is attentive and helpful and they pay attention to the small details. ( Large wardrobes to hang clothes, plus built in cabinetry for storing clothes, luggage,etc.. bathrobes and slippers in every room, actual real, glass water and wine glasses, mini- fridges, black-out drapes, lovely soft, crisp linens, beautiful Occitane shampoo, body gel and soaps)The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast ... was delicious. Best scrambled eggs! We stayed 7 nights and it felt like home. Public transit is easily available within metres of the hotel. The hotel is close to two train stations ( Karlsplatz and the Hauptbahnhof ) You can get the UBahn, S-Bahn, long distance regional ( BRB) and ICE trains. Will definitely stay there again.
