This is a character filled property with a uniqueness you won't find in the sterile hotel chains. Despite the unkempt appearance, the peace and quiet along with the fabulously deep back yard pool, greenery and common areas are a definite draw card. The location is handy for excursions by car in and out of the town and access to local shopping centres. The owner is welcoming in a style reflecting the spacious post-war en suites and a simple breakfast is provided along with some morning chit chat. The room I had was the budget small room but if you can, go for one of the en suites upstairs, you won't be disappointed. My only suggestion would be a deep clean of the small room (especially the carpet) and less clutter around the place but that would not deter me from staying here again.
