Waters edge stay
Great cabins on waters edge. Lots of communal toilets and showers around the grounds for use too. Couches in lounge area really need a good clean but everything else is great. The train rides on Saturdays are such a great addition

We were attending a wedding so had left the outside lights on. They were off when we got back in the rain at midnight. We found those fuses turned off by the electrician but only found out next morning.

The lakeside accommodation had lovely views but the property needs to be better cleaned.

A beautiful area, right on the river. Beautiful view. Kids loved jumping pillow, 2 playgrounds and the rides. Disappointingly the cabin needs a deep clean, lots of dust and just old overall. Even though its advertised, there is no wifi and the cafe was closed. Its a little bit out of town so a cafe would have been great.

Nagambie Leisure Park
We stayed in powered site with caravan amenities were good there were 1000,s of bird that were very noisy so bring your ear plugs. The park had lovely cabins that were right on the waters edge -great for fishing, jet skiing and boat skiing.

The time we spent at Nagambie Leisure Park was excellent overall.....and the only reason that the overall Rating is recorded as "4" is that when we were settled into our cabin quarters, we found that the TV, wouldn't operate at all. The young lady Manager in their office tried her very best to rectify the problem ...without success. Some time later , she got a man well versed in sorting-out TV problems to come and fix this particular problem..WHICH HE DID...and we were told that the problem came about because the previous tenants had taken away with them, when they vacated the Cabin, an essential electrical cord which connected "something WITH something" and without this connection cord the TV was NEVER going to work. In no way did this hiccup with the TV spoil our stay there, BUT it did spoil an otherwise perfect score for the purposes of ME completing this Rating Review,

Great views & relaxing destination
Originally booked with www.wotif.com, there were technical issues which didn't transfer our booking to the accommodation's system. Unfortunately, the particular room type we booked wasn't available. The staff at Nagambie Leisure Lakes Park went out of their way to find us accommodation which resulted in upgrading our booking. The Jayco cabin was well appointed and had all of the necessary items. The internal walls within the cabin are quite thin but the external walls seemed to keep the noise out. The cabin (3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms) was spacious and reasonably new. Perfect for 4 adults & 3-4 kids. The kids loved the playgrounds (x2) and jumping pillow. Will try the swimming pool in the warmer weather! We will definitely book again. Thank you.

Unit right on the lake edge
OK so now we get down to the nitty gritty, when we arrived the staff were great, however they did not know of our booking, and stated that WOTIF had not advised them. This was not the first time this had happened and had I not had the booking printout acknowledgement from WOTIF we might not have got into the park. The problem was that the park had experienced a mini tornado a few days prior, and 25 units were severely damaged. This stuffed up the entire booking process and many other bookings were cancelled as a result. The unit we had booked was damaged, so we were upgraded to one of the last units available at the time. We were in for 2 days mid-week, and had this been the weekend we would not have stood a chance of getting accommodation. We were very lucky because the staff were very understanding. WOTIF has a bit of explaining to do.

On arrival was advised booking not received from Wotif (made several weeks earlier) and was told ongoing problem. Despite severe storm damage in the park, staff were able to accommodate an early check in and no problems after that.

Beautiful location and good quality cabin
Loved the river running outside the door. The cabin was comparatively roomy, clean and in excellent condition. Hope to come back and stay longer.

Nice park located on the waters edge
A self contained Cabin right on the water's edge. Parked the car and trailer right beside the cabin, with the boat in the water 5 metres away. A 5 minute drive (if that) to the town centre where you can buy everything you need. Effortless check in and the same on check out.

Cabin was ok for two and just for a couple of nights but due to there only being two of pots and utensils it was difficult to self cater. Didn't expect to have to clean cabin, strip beds etc before leaving.

Caravan on a lake
Not what we expected, caravan very small, do not stay there in winter not enough heating, we froze. If you do take extra heating. Get the 3 bedroom for extra space. Nice views of the lake, cafe was shut during winter, I would only stay here during warmer months.
