โAfter an intense work week, a friend and I had 4 days in Cape Town before returning to Canada. Rouge on Rose was a perfect place to explore Cape Town and its environs. The hotel is in Bo K-aap which is a really interesting neighbourhood and very central. The vibe was definitely chilled. The rooms are large and comfortable. Lots of little things done well - lots of international plugs, heat/ac pumps. Staff were fantastic - they went out of their way to be helpful and also had lots of great tips....

The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious with a desk and chair, hanging space and I loved the arty decor in the room. It was very quiet. Tea, coffee and jug in the room but also free coffee and fresh muffin each morning for breakfast in lounge area near reception. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Since I had to check out late on my last day, they provided me with free accommodation in another room until my flight time. If I ever visit Cape Town again, I would definitely stay at this hotel. โ
