โA fantastic stay. Rooms just perfect. Lovely touch with the coffee machine and the fridge in the pantry with fresh milk and additional bottled water. Breakfast was excellent and far far beyond anything that you would expect at a pub type of stay. Location was quiet and a great base to explore Kent and the coastline. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Full marks for the Duke Williamโ๐๐ โ
โWhat a beautiful place to stay. An amazing amount of thought has gone into all elements of the Manor House and surrounding accommodation. We stayed in a hop pickers hut (number 4 was great as end of the row and cleaning cupboard next to us so no noise from neighbours) which had a large and comfortable bed and was thoughtfully appointed. We enjoyed exploring the kitchen garden and our evening meal was delicious (waiters were very knowledgeable about the food and wine list) Breakfast also superb...
โAbsolutely lovely little spa hotel, staff are friendly and attentive and the brought-to-room breakfast is lovely, room was clean, warm and modern with great tea and coffee facilities, nearby to lots of cute attractions and easy to access, you can even book treatments last minute at the spa, would certainly book again especially for the fair room and treatment pricing โ
โWe stopped here for a Spitfires game for our young fella and to be honest wasnโt expecting much - but we were incredibly pleasantly surprised!! This place is exceptional, easy to find, easy to access and staff instructions were friendly and easy to follow. This is a great stay! โ
โMy check in was Wednesday at 3pm but I arrived at 12pm on the day of my sons graduation on the 17th of September and the young man on reception was so accommodating in going out of his way in providing me an area to get dressed and freshen up after my 5 hour drive. Please could you personally commend him as he is an asset to your organisation. I will ask him if you did when I come to stay again! ๐โ
โVery close to the cathedral.
Despite that it is an old building, it is tidy and well-maintained. The room(old-style) was clean and tidy. The food was okay.
It was quiet at night as the room was facing the cathedral.
The surrounding area is nice and has a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs.โ
โGood location, walkable to Canterbury Cathedral. Good single room, comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helped me up to my room by carrying my suitcase. Since I was on the top floor, this was much appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful starting with continental choices and then a full cooked meal with several choices on the menu. Very good value for the cost.โ
โMe ayudaron para guardar mi bicicleta y que no estuviera en la calle expuesta al robo. Sin ella no hubiera podido continuar mi viaje.
Fueron muy amables en todo. Y el Bufet exquisito.โ
โA perfect location near the old town and Cathedral. Very comfortable bed and duvet. Did not read the fine print to realize the shared bathroom was on the 2nd floor but was not a bother. Would definitely go back again, โ
โAbsolutely great experience while im staying, good location(middle of city centre), quality of service nice and quick and you will satisfy with breakfast in hereโ
โExcellent stay at the Maidenโs Chambers. Staff were super welcoming and helpful. Check-in and check-out were easy, and it was just a short walk into the city center. Definitely recommend. โ
โIt was situated very convenient place.
Right at center of Canterbury
Check in was no hassle room was nice and clean
Comfortable but small which wasn't a problem.
Breakfast was good ๐ โ
โWe had a nice stay here, and the guy on reception (sorry, we didn't get his name) was supper friendly and informative
The room was clean, although some of the furniture was a bit dated.
Breakfast was a decent selection, especially considering this wasn't a big placeโ
