"Comfortable beds and pretty clean rooms despite the outdated condition. Staff was excellent. My husband got sick and they were nice enough to order medicine from a pharmacy and had it delivered to our room."

"The staff told me the music would stop at 11pm but it didn't stop until 1am. They were dishonest about the noise and i would have stayed somewhere else if they were truthful. The music was so loud sleeping was impossible even with earplugs. If you want to rest stay elsewhere."

"What a location! We enjoyed, the pool, being able to look up at a massive sand dune, the close proximity to the Oasis, happy hour mojitos and the meals. The manager was friendly and interacted with the guests and the rest of the staff also gave excellent service. Highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Huacachina. "

"Everything about this place is excellent! From super clean rooms with fresh smelling sheets/pillows, a fan in the room which helps with some relief from the desert heat, the food from the restaurant is a fair price and absolutely delicious! We had more than one excellent conversation with Eduardo about local history, spirituality, and about our home country Canada 🇨🇦 I absolutely recommend renting the gear to try your hand at sandboarding if you are able as it is a beyond exhilarating experience! Everything in Huacachina is accessible by foot and super close for walking distance since it really is a small desert oasis town. We spent our days hiding from the heat at a nearby pool as a lot of the local businesses that have one offer day passes or you simply just need to purchase something from their attached restaurants to gain access to the pool ☺️ As young female travellers we felt beyond safe and are already planning our next trip to Peru to visit this hidden gem and try our hand at sandboarding! (After a lil more practice snowboarding back home 😂)"

"L'accueil courtois mais pas chaleureux, petit plus pour le personnel du petit déjeuner -elles étaient adorables - la chambre spacieuse et simple, mais nuit horrible ! Pas de climatisation mais un simple ventilateur qui brasse de l'air chaud donc obligée de laisser la fenêtre ouverte ! Bruit de la rue incessant, moustiques et pour couronner le tout un réveil à 6h par les marchands ambulants qui mettent la musique à fond !! Au final mauvaise nuit, pas du tout reposés pour entamer un périple de plusieurs jours dans le sud du Pérou ! Je ne recommande pas la chambre au RDC !!"

"The staff was courteous and helpful but the water wasn’t really hot in the shower, there are no screens on the windows, there was loud music from the restaurant I had to request to be turned down, there were leaves and a dead bug in the shower. It was just a lot to pay for not what I would expect."

"I don't normally do bad reviews and stay in hotels around 30/40 nights a year. Other than the location and pool this experience was very poor. The WiFi is not suitable for video calls or streaming. The Aircon doesn't lower the temperature effectively at all which for a hot place makes sleeping very hard. The water is a trickle and doesn't run hot which is okay after a hot day in the dunes but reflects poorly on the hotel. When arriving and paying by card a 5% fee is levied which isn't written anywhere. They rushed us out of our room and charged us 20 soles for the extra hour we were there despite it not being busy. They wouldn't even let us stay by the pool after checking out even though it wasn't busy."
