Wonderful stay! They have free coffee, tea, juice and ice cream 24 hours a day, plus breakfast, dinner AND snacks (3 to 10 pm) included! My room was spotless, and the staff were wonderful. Best place I’ve stayed in a while!

The hotel should be named Super Kindness Hotel. Free drinks, coffee, ice creams, and coffee-jelly and tea- jelly among others make this hotel most hospitable and unique among others. I enjoyed my stay there immensely.

This is our ( a group of 3 couples) first time staying in a Kindness Hotel. As the name suggests, the whole hotel's provision and arrangement are full of "kindness". I'm impressed by the variety of food items in the breakfast buffet. Believe it or not the latte coffee is better than SB and their ice cream is better than the one we bought from an ice cream shop. There's abundant provision of quality toothpicks, serviettes, wet towels. For 2 nights we chose to take the "snacks " provided from 7-9 pm instead of having dinner outside since we are not big eaters. The rooms are bright, clean and tidy with ample provision of toilet paper. (We stayed in a Taipei hotel a few days later. That hotel did not even provide one spare roll of toilet paper.) There is also free laundry facility. We would definitely book again in the future. Thanks a lot for the kindness that you show to your visitors. We were greatly impressed.

I am not sure if it is due to the low tourism at this time, but we were given free breakfast free dinner free snacks and free drinks! Wonderful live singer during dinner. Spacious room with all amenities. We wish we could have stayed longer

Cleanest hotel we’ve ever stayed at anywhere in the world, top to bottom. Attentive, caring staff in every part of the place. Free excellent self laundry machines, 24 hr snacks and coffee. Excellent plentiful breakfast and even a free nighttime light meal on offer. Super location, right downtown. Very reasonable price. Only complaint: taxi company they have on call has surly, unfriendly drivers- any other local cab would be better. We were there 6 days and tried at least 2 others who were much better. Strongly recommend the Kindness Hotel- they really live up to their name!

Surprised there’s afternoon tea bar as soon as we checked in. After a day out, restaurant serves complimentary traditional Taiwanese street foods 8-10pm. Nice hotel who make sure you don’t get hungry 😋

Impressive! Highly recommended and will definitely stay again if visit Hualien. So many people actually went for the free supper provided 8-10pm as though for dinner. Free 3hrs bike rental to night market was fun and good experience.

Came to Hualien to see Taroko National Park and really enjoyed our stay at the Kindness as it truly was kind. The staff is super friendly and we took advantage of all their free offerings - bike usage, 24-hour coffee, tea and ice cream bar, breakfast and dinner included with music too! And snack bar from 3-10pm. What’s not to love?!

Great location at walking distance from Hualien. It was very busy around New Year. Staff and service got better afterwards. There was a very friendly woman serving breakfast. We gave permission to not clean our room the first day, but they also skipped the 2nd day. Could have used the new bottles of water and clean towels.

This location was very easy and close to the Hualien station. It’s about a 8 minute walk. On the way, you pass by at least two Family Marts and one 7-11. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to take advantage of the breakfast or dining area. There are close restaurants within a couple blocks walk for boba tea, dumplings and beef noodle soup. We didn’t take advantage of the free bicycles either since it was raining. The staff was very kind and assisted with hailing a taxi. Service was great. Would def stay here again in Hualien.

It's generally our favorite hotel in Hualien. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, they offer a "late night supper" (light dinner) from 8pm to 10pm and you get drinks and ice cream all day. Also their free laundry facilities are great. Why only 3 stars? Out of three times borrowing their free bicycles, twice we got problems. Once the seat of one bicycle kept moving down and turning, so we had to cycle back with that. The other time was even worse, when during gear switch the chain went off and got completely stuck. We had to bring it to a repair shop (to chance to cycle back) and pay $300 for it. When returning to the hotel and telling them about the issue, there was no response, not even a simple sorry. Their bicycle maintenance as well as the reaction to the problem both were awful.
