"First time to Male and I should have done more research. I figured the location being close to the beach would be great but phase ii island is under lots of construction and doesn't have the services that phase I has so this is a great location if you want steps. The noise from construction and the road noise was constant. The room cooled well, but the bathroom stayed a little warm. "We stayed for our Honeymoon and had a wonderful experience overall. The staff were friendly, polite, competent and just nice overall. The facilities were beautifully planned from the nice groomed nature to the pools and bars, and everything was perfectly maintained. We stayed in an over water villa, it was gorgeous! Thoughtfully designed in lots of little details, real pleasure to stay there and the views. Snorkelling was amazing! My first time snorkelling in a reef so I cant compare but I did not get bored of the house reefs at all, full of beautiful marine life. And diving with nurse sharks experience was definitely something we will remember forever. Finally the food was excellent, tasty lots of variety, especially recommend the alacarte restauarants."
