"A fantastic hotel. The rooms we very clean. We had a great view from our room, looking out over the waterfront, with snow covered hills in the background. However, I believe that some rooms looked inwards over the hotel lobby. The hotel is spotleiclean and the huge hotel lobby has many features. The staff were supremely helpful and friendly, but at the fear of singling one in particular out - a big shout out to Olga, for whom nothing was too much trouble, a real credit to the hotel. The hotel is just a little way out of downtown Reykjavik, but there are 2 bus stops nearby, and the bus ride is only a few minutes into the centre. If I go back to Reykjavik in the future, then without hesitation, this is the hotel I would look to book."

"This was the cleanest, and coolest, hotel experience I've ever had. Very Hostel like, however the staff there was open to chatting and giving you tips on where to head in the city!"

"Had a lovely stay in Iceland. Room was clean. For the size of the room and if it’s single person smaller bed might be more suitable. Had issues with the room key on day 1, and after reporting the issues I had continuous issues for the remainder of the holiday. Reported it a couple of times and the reply I had was we will report it to maintenance "

"This hotel was in an amazing location. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and the breakfast spread was good, great for fuelling up in the morning with a nice selection of items from pastries to cereal & yogurts. The room was a bit frustrating as we booked a double bed and ended up with a twin room, and although they were pushed together, the gap between them meant my partner and I couldn’t sleep, cuddle etc. i would’ve preferred just a double bed as anticipated getting on our booking. The room also didn’t have enough outlets, or were in very inconvenient positions, and the safe in the room had no batteries so we couldn’t leave any belongings locked away. The room also had a bit of a smell, but can only anticipate that it was due to the sulphur caused by the hot water etc. Overall, great stay. Comfy beds, amazing location, and liked the setup of the place. Would stay here again. "

"Location is very good for bus tour pickup and dropoff. Hotel is by Bus Stop 12. Restaurants and points of interest are within 3 km radius. Staff were very helpful and courteous"
