We were so looking forward to this accomodation with the view straight to the ocean, and a hope for some Northern Lights, but our day's plans were changed due to weather and we didn't arrive until 9pm on a wet and crazy windy evening. It was such a cozy space to warm up in, and we were happy to arrive finally. The kitchenette was handy, the water was hot, and beds comfortable.

We had trouble getting communication from Expedia about check-in, but the host responded quickly and we resolved the issue. Spectacular location!! Very nice building, room, ammenities and view. Would have loved to stay longer than one night!

Three units sit side by side, all with an amazing 180-degree ocean view. Even though the three cottages are directly next to one another, we did not hear any noise from the neighbouring units at all. Everything inside was clean and tidy. The space is definitely on the smaller side, and the kitchenette is quite limited, with no sink. But there is no need to worry about washing up, as the host takes care of that part. For an overnight stop while travelling through the area, this is a very good place to properly recover and recharge.

Stunning property. View spectacular. Loved our stay. Can I suggest that there needs a few larger bowls for the microwave for cooking purposes. Also not having a little kitchen sink annoying. Otherwise beautiful place to stay. Thank you

La guesthouse est composée de 3 logements côte à côte. Très propre et très jolie vue, on conseille. Le seul inconvénient est que les autres occupants doivent passer devant la baie vitrée du logement pour aller dans le leur : l'intimité est limitée. On conseille tout de même ce logement, avec check in autonome.

The hosts sent a message the night before with all the information needed to arrive to our destination easily! The unit was so unique, overlooking the water with the sheep / horse farm behind the property. The compact kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The blackout curtains let in some light but overall did a great job at blocking most! We would highly recommend anyone looking for a quiet stay near Hvammstangi.

Super süße Unterkunft mit perfektem Blick aufs Meer! Wir haben den Ausblick sehr genossen! Check-In problemlos und schnell per Schlüsselcode. Unterkunft war sauber, Küche gut ausgestattet. War definitv unser Highlight an diesem Tag.

Excellent communication with the host. No onsite management, but there were no issues and getting into our room and the stay was very smooth. Good location if traveling around on the M1. Nice views over the ocean.

This property was the highlight of my Icelandic experience! It had the most beautiful, scenic location, super remote with a beautiful sea front view. I saw the northern lights 3 times from my room was an unreal experience. The place was so clean, quiet and cozy and the owners were so lovely and helpful when needed. The location is around 20 mins drive from the town so shopping and groceries were needed as it’s quite remote and the road there was a bit scary (I was there in peak winter so it was icy) but it was soo worth it. Location was very rural so I was close to the area to see seals and horses. Will never forget my time here ❤️

Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, dass in der Küche kein Herd und Spülbecken vorhanden sind. Aber das Geschirr wird gespült 👍. Es lieblos mit Tesa aufgehängte Informationen an der Wand. Sehr freundliche Inhaber. Ansonsten haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben.

Me encantó la vista de la propiedad hacia el mar, pudimos ver focas fue hermoso. La habitación estaba limpia y muy cómoda, los hosts fueron muy atentos y estuvieron al pendiente vía mensaje de cualquier cosa que necesitáramos. Es una buena opción de hospedaje para pasar una noche, ya que no cuenta con cocina completa entonces no es posible cocinar.
