"We were told our rooms would be side by side and they were not. When I went back to the front desk and said 'You told us the rooms were side by side' she said 'well they are close'. The room was clean and well stocked with supplies. Might need a little paint in the bathroom. A/C worked well. The Continental Breakfast was good and the room was nice and clean."

"What wasn't apparent when we booked this hotel was that it is still under construction, so no pool, no breakfast area and not even any ice buckets although the person at the front desk was able to provide me with a plastic bag. The light fixtures in the foyer are beautiful and it will, I am sure, be lovely once the reno is completed. The room was comfortable enough, the bathroom well stocked with Crabtree and Evelyn products and nice bath towels. You cannot turn on the water without being in the shower, which is a bit inconvenient when it is necessary to endure a blast of very cold water before the warm kicks in. All in all, it was an excessively expensive bed and bath given nothing else was operable. Having stayed here many times in this hotel's previous existence, we do understand what is missing at this point. The location is great...near to restaurants and shopping."

"I have stayed at this hotel 5-6 times over the past couple years and I’m wondering if management or staff have changed. It seems the cleanliness and attention to detail has declined. In the breakfast area they had no paper towel and machines for water were out of service. Not major things but a bunch of small things added up to a mediocre stay."
