“I booked a superior queen room that was far below its description. it was literally a triangle with the bed taking up three quarters of the room. it was supposed to have ocean views however they were only seen from the far corner of the veranda. “The view was spectacular and enjoyed time sitting on the balcony. Moby Dicks is well position for a walk into town or a walk along the river. I found the little notes about what you can’t do eg. Cook meat on the stove, leave dishes in the sink etc annoying with the constant threat of being fined - not relaxing or welcoming. Don’t provide ammenities if you don’t want people to use them! Have shampoo etc in refill containers that can’t be moved if you don’t want them taken. ”

“My impression of the Big 4 Big River Holiday Park was a disappointment, over priced for what was on offer. This Park was tidy, but lack shaded areas or greenery, has a very mediocre (small) size gated swimming pool. The two bedroom cabins are very small containing a matchbox size bathroom, the shower floor tiles are extremely slippery, with the shower hot and cold water hard to regulate. The slope down to the riverside from the cabin was too steep if for anyone mobility issues. On the positive...

“Check in experience was great , the girls at reception were really lovely . we were upgraded to a 3 bedroom cabin , due to works being completed on the cabin we had booked , the location is perfect and although we’ve never stayed here in winter before the park was busy enough to hold the holiday atmosphere. My kids are young adults and enjoyed the mini golf and games room .”
