"Really lovely room and lovely staff. There is a nice vibe in the restaurant. My only complaint was menu choice in the restaurant. The menu choices weee limited, naturally a lot of fish. But if you don’t eat fish or like curries there isn’t much choice. I would suggest adding a pasta dish to the menu."

"Really enjoyed my stay here at Cairn House B&B one of the best if visiting Ilfracombe. The hosts are super friendly and the food was excellent. I shall definitely be returning my next trip to Devon and highly recommend to anyone looking for a accommodation in Ilfracombe. 5 stars"

"We had a very warm welcome and were shown to our room. It had a wonderful view across Ilfracombe. Both the room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. A fully stocked hospitality tray including bottled water were available. The hotel is on the coastal path, with stunning views from the cliff just a few minutes' walk away. The walk to the harbour or the high street are easy to do - just bear in mind there are some steep roads. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order with various options, and fruit, cereals and fruit juices were also available. The hotel is in a very quiet area, so we had a good night's sleep. Even the gulls sounded muted. We will definitely return as this is now our favourite place to stay! Tip - feeling peckish or thirsty late at night? In a neighbouring property there are vending machines with sweet, savoury and drinks available 24/7."

"As per previous reviews, it could do with a refurb but for the cost, we feel it was good value for money. Great location, lovely views from our room and close to local shops and restaurants. One suggestion I would make is concerning the lack of available power sockets in the room. These could be changed out to combined usb and socket to allow the charging of phones and using the kettle/ hairdryer etc. quick fix. Parking was a bit confusing, it states that hotel has a limited car park but it isn’t managed by the hotel. Perhaps a map of parking options be included on the info sheet given at check in would be useful. When you have been travelling for 5 hours, you just want to get settled asap Overall we had a lovely stay in ilfracombe."

"Lovely little apartment.. very clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable! Hot tub was lovely and we sat in it and watched the sunset over the sea. Complex is quite run down but work is ongoing to improve the facilities. A manual for the hot tub would have been useful having never used one before."
