"This hotel is on the top floor of a shopping g mall. You enter through the mall. When the mall is closed you can walk around the empty mall… it’s kind of cool. "

"The Real Marina is a great hotel, whose staff go above and beyond at their jobs. The rooms are big, clean, and have AC. Bed is comfortable, and the bathrooms are spotless. The free internet has enough bandwidth to stream content if needs be. The hotel is not too far from numerous restaurants in Olhao, and it is perfectly positioned for getting a water taxi to the beaches, and the seafood festival. The only negatives I have with my stay there are to do with the bar. The prices of drinks were inconsistent (I paid €15 for a beer and Coke the first day, then €9 at another occasion), and the food options at lunch were not great."

The architecture is truly a standout feature: modern yet rooted in the local aesthetic, with beautiful design touches throughout that made the entire property feel luxurious and unique. The pools were absolutely incredible—serene, well-designed, and perfect for relaxing under the Algarve sun. One important note for future guests: the hotel is located in the countryside, so it’s a good 30–45 minutes by car to the coastal Algarve towns and beaches. A rental car is definitely recommended if you plan to explore beyond the resort.
