Hotel was great and dining staff were attentive, front desk staff were pleasant and bell boys and security guards were friendly and approachable. The hotel is located in a built up area surrounded by eateries. We picked this hotel as it’s walking distance from Doctors Hospital which was handy. The only negative thing I found was the window in my room had one of the handle that locks the window missing…which made me feel unsafe and the cable channels doesn't work. But my overall first time experience in this hotel was good.

1st time but won’t be the last
1st time staying here but wasn’t disappointed.Spacious bedroom with a view to die for of the river & surrounding area . The staff were very pleasant from the front desk to restaurant & house keeping

We especially liked the staff: All of the employees were both professional and personable. We failed to get the names of the housecleaning staff, but they were excellent and responsive to every question. In the dining area, we especially enjoyed the attentiveness of Freddie, Adrian, and Leo. Two improvements would put this hotel over the top: 1. Microwave, for an executive suite not to have a microwave is very unfortunate. 2. WiFi, they really need to improve the wifi, both in strength and also password protection. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.

Overall nice looking place with super friendly staff. The restaurant food was great. There were some issues with water not working (no hot water at times) and was disappointed the pool was out for maintenance with no ETA on fixing.

Casually relaxed, eschewing hype
I've stayed at this hotel four years ago, and I'm still satisfied. It's a cozy, friendly place which sttains all the expectations I have for a hotel (quiet, decent food, pleasant staff, good location), and safety). There are many other options in Iloilo City, but I like the option of being able to open a gate and go for jogs or walks on the riverwalk esplanade, which is the city's perfect route for runs (two miles for the circuit). Other hotels seem to overdo it with hyped hospitality, but this one is causally relaxed.

It was not a pleasant stay from checking in... ilwe booked a Queen size bed room for 2 days - we arrived after 3pm and the room was not yet prepared... we were told they will put the two beds together. Upon gettin into the room we found 3 beds in the room... the put together one and two more single ones - and hardly any room to walk about. Then there was the question of loud noises from outside, not yo mention the aircon. Just too loud... so we complained and we were moved to another room. Then the TV was not working so we call for help, after 20 mins we called again since no one came... we were just told that all guests are complaining the same thing about their TVs.... the following night - still the same problem we called again and 20 mins went by and still no one came - so we called again - alreafy ipset at this point... finally they sent someone and it was just a matter of replacing batteries...😡 The worse part is the swimming pool which is part of the reason why we stayed here. The pool had so much garbage floating... bugs and plastics and dirt... and the surroundings was in disarray. The poolside is used as a storage for the hotel’s extra chairs and folded tables. When i asked the bellman why the pool is soooo dirty, he looked at the maintenance guy and asked him yhe same, to which the maintenance guy replied, with a scared face, “i will send someone to clean it now...”. Needless to say the 3 days, two nights we stayed in the hotel, no swimming.

Easy walking distance to SM City and many restaurants. The hotel is older and could use some updating, but the staff were friendly and the rooms clean.

Worth a visit
As the name of the hotel indicates the hotel is located by the river. The pool area is actually overlooking the river. The hotel doesn’t feel old despite of its age, however, the age shows at places and especially the pool could need a makeover. The rooms are rather spacious and has fast WiFi. But the best thing about this place has got to be the breakfast buffet who has a lot of different options. For example do they serve a really rich tsokolate

...on our first visit to this hotel, we were charged an additional for the breakfast of our two companions who were included in our booking inclusive of breakfast...i wonder why but on our second time checked-in, all breakfast are offered free for all of us...

Nice city hotel
Check in was smooth, efficient and front of house staff were very pleasant and helpful Hotel building is not new but is well maintained to local standards. Inclusive breakfast buffet was good local fare and not in short supply. Table staff were very efficient and friendly Wifi in room was free and speed was generally good. Passsword required changing every 24 hours which is a good safety feature and we're freely available upon request from front desk. Would recommend to friends and definitely stay again Rooms were cleaned daily

Nice hotel but a little old.
The hotel was able to house us last minute. We expected a much nicer hotel for the equivalent price but when we arrived we noticed that the room is a little old (including the bathroom).
