Overpriced in July โ Clean Towels, But Not Much Else
We stayed here in June for โฌ200 for two nights, and for that price, it was acceptable. The room was clean, and the white towels and linens were fresh and neat. If youโre just looking for a clean place to sleep, it does the job.
But we originally wanted to stay in July, and the price then jumps to โฌ1900 for three nights โ which is absolutely insane for what you actually get.
Hereโs what to expect (or not expect) at that price:
No linen change during a 2-night stay โ youโre using the same sheets from check-in to check-out.
Amenities are neglected: the barbecue area is dirty, and outside furniture like tables, chairs, and cups are broken and gathering dust. If you drink American coffee, you're given a plastic cup and a stir stick โ but no spoon to scoop the grounds.
The toaster looks like it hasnโt been cleaned in centuries.
And then thereโs the mini-bar situation:
โฌ1 for a 500ml bottle of water not even cold
โฌ4 for a mini tube of off-brand chips passed off as โPringlesโ โ not the real thing, and definitely not full-sized.
Even being near the racetrack doesnโt justify this kind of pricing. At nearly โฌ700 per night, youโre not getting anything beyond basic cleanliness โ and even that stops short of decent service.
Final verdict: The towels may be clean, but the experience isnโt worth the price tag. At these rates, you can โ and should โ find somewhere far better.
