“This is a lovely place to stay. It has everything you need . We stayed here as we were going to a concert in Murrayfiels stadium and the location was perfect. The cottage was clean and location beautiful. Jack left a lovely bottle of wine and a welcome note. Will be coming back to this beautiful place Thanks ”

“After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub. The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there. We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues”

“This is a quiet country like cottage. Owners are not maintaining the property, grass was long and unkept, kitchen had greasy walls, dirty blinds. The main bedroom had an ant infestation. I had to was raid to kill the nest under the window. The driveway backs on to an abandoned building that has garbage piles. The main road that the hohae is on is like a race track, lots of loud cars roaring by. Kitchen has a poor amount of glasses to drink from. Very dirty, especially when they charge a...

“Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips.”

“The property is brilliant the castle is amazing. The owners are very friendy and encourage you to walk to grounds which is beautiful. Was very happy with our stay. The location is ideal 20 min drive to Edinburgh 30 min drive to coldstream/kelso to explore the boarders.”
