“Ascrib’s View is a gem. Strongly recommend to anyone visiting Skye. It’s nice to be away from the bustle of Portree, while still being close to many activities. We enjoyed hiking the Quirang and Fairy Pools, and had an amazing speed boat safari with Isle of Skye Seafari in Portree. The cottage is peaceful and clean, with modern fixtures, a full kitchen and incredible views. Billy and Helen were very easy to communicate with and were very responsive. “The house itself was wonderful-spacious, comfortable, and in a great location. It was easy to relax and felt like a great base for our trip. The beds and sheets were clean, and there were plenty of towels, which we appreciated. There were a few issues that took away from the experience. When we arrived, the heating wasn’t on and there were no instructions in the guest book, so we had to message the property manager to figure out how to turn it on. There was also no firewood provided....
