“Our room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. I loved seeing the red squirrels at the bird feeders outside of our window. Breakfast was hearty and delicious, and John was very friendly and has a great sense of humor!”

“We loved Highland Guest House. It's in a perfect location in a great little tow. Our hosts were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic, and another guest lounge had supplies of tea, coffee and fruit available during the day. We found many wonderful walks in the area, great meals in the nearby pub and lots of interesting shops in town. This guest house was also the best value accommodation we found on our holiday in the UK.”

“Unterkunft sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Im ganzen Haus liegt alter staubiger Teppichboden aus. Zimmer sehr altbacken. Leider war der Wasserkocher so alt und/oder nicht richtig gereinigt, dass sich das Material am Boden gelöst hat und Schimmel darin war auch nicht auszuschließen. Eigentümerin hatte mich herfahren und parken sehen, kam aus ihrem Cottage heraus und lief an mir vorbei ohne zu warten oder grüßen. Sie wusste genau, dass ich ein Gast des Hauses bin. Etwas sonderbar.”

“A busy friendly pub hotel that made us feel very welcome. Very clean, very large comfy bed. A quiet large warm room and clean bathroom. Staff were friendly and obliging and breakfast delicious. Loved the fact a table at dinner was reserved even without asking and then you could choose not to take it. We did and the menu was varied in a dining room that took good COVID precautions. We enjoyed our dinner. Really great value for money and would definitely recommend.”
