Nice place to stay as much close to the ocean as possible. The beach is perfect. The staff is young and you can't expect perfect service from them, which must be typical for same price hotels.

Staff members not wearing gloves or masks,food is not clean kitchen staff member is very dirty and unhygienic.not worth the price for food charges,refused to buy food from outside but hotel staff buy food and cigarette from outside for extra cash.can stay for couple of days for the because of the beach and the view.poor hotel management.highly not recommended.

Positiv an diesem Hotel ist, dass es direkt am Strand liegt. Leider ist die gesamte Anlage sehr heruntergekommen und entspricht in keinster Weise den Fotos im Internet. Der Putz blättert ab und es sind überall Wasserflecke zu sehen. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. WLAN gibt es nur in der Lobby und auf den Balkonen der Zimmer, die zur Straße hin gelegen sind. Das Frühstück war okay. Insgesamt ein eher enttäuschender Aufenthalt.

Fin service och bra hotellområde.

Bodde våra 2 sista nätter på Sri Lanka här och trivdes jättebra. Vågorna är höga men gick att bemästra. Stranden nästan folktom. Hotellet har solstolar och erbjuder handuk. Poolen var väl skött. Rummet var stort och hade allt man kan önska och säng och kudde var bekväma. Vi skulle inte åka förrän sent på kvällen men fick hänga kvar på området och utnyttja alla faciliteter hela dagen. Fick även handdukar på stranden. Frukosten var okej och en av de bättre vi haft under vår 3 veckors resa. Servicen var okej också även om det blev fel mat vid en middag. Finns en del restauranger längs stranden men behöver man handla eller ta ut pengar så är det tuk-tuk till Bentota som gäller. Kan varmt rekommendera!

Big shout out for the Bed Manager

We have stayed at this hotel previously. Bed manager excellent because originally we were placed on the second floor room (there is no lift so lots of stairs). My husband has a bad back and finds the stairs difficult. We were subsequently moved to the ground floor room the next morning. Excellent result. Also receptionist very friendly, all the best to her with the birth of her first child.

Great value, great location and great staff

This is a really good hotel, on the beach, great staff and a wonderful menu/food. Not much to complain about at all, maybe just the limited wifi which is only available in the lobby and indoor restaurant .

Very disappointing stay

The hotel facilities are not bad, but it feels like they need an update. The location and the room was good but our experience was tarnished by the terrible service from the staff. it didn’t feel there was someone in charge and every employee seemed to dislike their job and didn’t do anything to make us feel welcome or comfortable even though it was low season, and the hotel was completely empty. We only had a good experience with the guy in charge of the sunbeds on the beach who was kind and helpful when we were there. The hotel advertises WiFi but they only have this available in the lobby and it wasn’t even working the day we arrived, the ladies at the front desk were clueless about anything to recommend in the area so we ventured to find restaurants and other places ourselves, we realised other hotels in the area have a much better offer for a similar price. It’s a shame we had this hotel as the last as we loved all the people in Sri Lanka and the places we stayed at; we even asked if we stay until 3pm before leaving on the last day as we had a very late flight but our request was denied for no other reason than hotel policy (there was no one else in the hotel and they didn’t expect anyone either).

Nice hotel with very friendly staff on the beach

A nice and clean hotel with very friendly and service-minded staff located on a beautiful beach. Generous breakfast. Internet not always working. Not much choice of restaurants or shops on walking distance but tuk-tuks always waiting outside. The room was very spacious with nice balcony with sea and åalm ttee wiew. I can really recommend this hotel if the purpose is R&R!

Välskött, trevlig personal, rymliga rum, bra ac, god frukost med lite variation från dag till dag. Hotellet låg med huvudvägen på ena sidan och stranden på andra sidan. I rum mot stranden var det tyst och lugnt. Gott om gratis solsängar, ingen hets på morgonen att paxa med handdukar. Det fanns flera bra restauranger på gångavstånd via stranden eller gatan. Minus för detta hotell var att i beskrivningen står att det fanns gratis wi-fi i alla rum - väl på plats visade det sig att det inte fanns wi-fi i något rum... endast i allmänna utrymmen som lobby och restaurang.

Great stay !

We stayed here for 5 days as part of our Honeymoon, the rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was good. Very close to lots of tourists attractions. We would love to bring our family back to Oasey !

Horrific Accident due to patheic housekeeping

The stay was patheic as my wife had a pathetic fall at the end of the trip due to the reason that the floor wasnt mopped and thus cauing her a sprain on her back and her iphone to be destroyed in this act. We incured a total loss of 800 USD. Plus the mental trauma and thus spoiling remainder of our trip. Kindly ask the hotel to compensate us for this loss

Zimmer ok, Stransanlage verrottet, Frühstück pfui

Für Kinder absolut ungeeignet, Strandbereich total heruntergekommen und schmutzig und unfertig. Viele alte Plastikgartenstühle etc. Es wurden direkt neben uns die Liegen abgeschliffen und lackiert. Zimmer ok. Frühstück absolut schlecht. Immer das gleiche und sehr wenig Auswahl. Kabel am Toaster so kaputt, dass Lebensgefahr durch Stromschlag besteht. Kannen für Tee/Kaffee vermutlich vor zwei Jahren zuletzt gereinigt. Fazit: Nie wieder. Keine Erholung möglich. Für ein paar Übernachtungen kann man es grade so aushalten.

Think of Faulty Towers

From the outset the our stay was a disaster, the office / counter staff where too busy chatting to check us in, the room was not as described and was dirty and the bed linen was not changed, the towels smelt and where grey. The first meal we had was dinner on our first night, it comprised of 2 minute noodles and what was supposed to be chicken, the flesh was off and we didnt finish a single mouthful. On the 10th of september it rained in the morning and the tiles that could only be described as wall tiles provided the perfect surface to slip did, i underwent 28 stitches as a result of the fall, the staff could not provide any first aid assistance, instead they issued 2 bottles of water (which i was later charged for) and a ride to the hospital in a took took (which i was charged for as well) All in all the best thing about this place was leaving!!!!!
