โWe stayed for just one night in the "Lu Magazzi". It was a beautiful room and looked like it had been very recently built. Everything was spotlessly clean and new. We enjoyed the breakfast with all the home produced products. We particularly loved the Torta di noci (Walnut cake). The owner provided helpful suggestions on nearby places to eat - all a short drive away in the next village. Such an idilic quiet place to stay if you are exploring the Sibilini mountains. โUnique and wonderful!
We stayed here because we wanted to see the flower fields near Casteluccio. We drove up from Rome in about 4 hours through beautiful mountains. This castle (a former defensive fortification) was a breathtaking sight at the end of the drive. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Francesco and his sister Lara. Our baggage was taken up the stairs via an amazing custom monorail.
