“Lovely country pub Great food Room very nice Road noise so take ear plugs! ”

“The room is a nice size, clean, but very very dated, the shower was in the bath and not very good. The hotel itself is located not far from Stansted airport and it's the only reason I would consider booking again. The parking at the hotel is very poor and pretty much a free for all but the car park next door is free between 6pm to 8am with proper painted bays where people park rather than just abandon their cars. All in all it was an ok choice of a place to stay for an early flight but I doubt...

“Clean room and bed sheets, soft towels. There's shower gel, shampoo and conditioner (it's a big plus for me, finally not the 3-in-1 gel I find in many hotels). There's a kettle, coffee, milk, and sugar in the room as well as a hair dryer. The condition of the walls (paint) is not great but apart from that the room was good. The bed is comfy and the neighborhood is very quiet. The pub is on the ground floor while the rooms are on the second meaning there's no noise in the evening. The staff is...

“Room was clean and the staff were really helpful. ”

“Excellent location for O2 venue, which is why we chose this establishment. Staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meal at the pub was 'nice' although portion size was not too generous. Room was very small (superior double) en-suite facilities were also tiny. Stairway and corridors leading to the rooms are narrow and steep (we were on the 3rd floor). Did not experience noise from the pub or road, this may not be the case in summer as there is many outside/rooftop tables.”

“Lovely this place but as I’ve said before a smile or a welcome back would go a miss !!! Stayed in this place near 50 times now !!!! You think they would say welcome back mr Di@@er but it’s always the same ! This is a solid Irish old boys pub ! Not for the faint hearted ! I love it but please be more welcoming ”
