Rooms were clean and well-organzied, if a bit smaller than we'd hoped. Staff were very helpful, and the location was excellent with the beach just across the street, and a bus station next to the hotel.

Dåligt
Farout är värd högst 2 stjärnor Jag skulle säga att 2 stjärnor är mer än vad Far Out Village är. Rummen är mycket gamla och det finns inga ens dricksglas i rummet. Sängar och madrasserna är gamla och hårda, kuddarna är ovärdiga. Dusch och toan är dåliga. Rummet har bara ett eluttag som var svårt att hitta, Personalen på hotellet var inte så engagerade. Frukost var acceptabel erbjuder några olika sortiment. För att vara rättvis har hotellet ett trevligt läge och poolområdet är trevligt och restaurangen är ok. Jag tror att hotellet är bra för dig om du inte förväntar dig mycket och du är där bara för fest och använder ditt rum endast för att sova, om du kan. Jag ska inte rekommendera Far Out till någon.

A cama rangia com qualquer movimento. O banheiro estava mal lavado quando chegamos. E o transfer que contratamos com o hotel atrasou! Não contrate o transfer com o hotel. Muito melhor ir com o ônibus público, que tem parada na frente do hotel.

Good value for money
Really nice rooms and lovely pool and beach area particularly for the money. It is a bit of a haven for party go-ers however they all go off into town at 9-10pm. It would likely be loud here from June - August though as next door is Far Out beach club. Lovely stay in off season though

Farout is far from 4 stars
Far out hotel is far from 4 star rating. I would say 2 stars is closer to reality. The rooms are very old and there is no even drinking glasses in the room. Beds are old and hard, the pillows are unworthy. The room has only one electrical outlet, so when we wanted to charge our phones, another needed to put phone in to toilet for charging. Staff of the hotel seemed annoyed everytime u did ask something them. Breakfast offer only toast and yougurt. To be fair, hotel is in nice location and the pool area is nice also restaurant is ok. I think the hotel is good for u if u don't expect a lot anf you are there only for party and use your room only for sleeping. Still would not recommend.

The staff members were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed that the beach is close by and that we could use the sun-beds with no extra charge. On the downside the hotel for sure is not a 4*, the rooms are not very big and decorations are very old school.

The rooms were very basic which is to be expected for the price you are paying. However, the facilities and location were outstanding. You are right on the beach, the pool itself is also very nice and the music playing was a lovely touch. Breakfast was great, the staff were really nice, the food and drinks we ordered were also very good. The beach here had soft sparkly sand and the water was delightful. There is a bus stop right outside which will take you directly to the town. They offered a transfer to and from the port, it is chargeable but well worth the money if you are travelling in at night like we did. Our driver Stefan was awesome and made us laugh the whole way there. Wish we had stayed here longer, will definitely be back.

På grund af Corona blev der ikke gjort rent i 5 dage, hvilket jeg ikke syntes var i orden. Fin service blev afhentet i havnen. Fin restaurant med masser af lækkert mad.

Proximity to the beach was great. Most staff were very hospitable. Apartment was very private. However, it was incredibly basic for somewhere rated 4 stars. And they don’t provide towels for the beach which is odd considering how close it is to the beach

This is a party hotel for a very young crowd. The location is good, but the constant loud music from the Far Out Beach Club was not my style. Rooms are small, but very clean. Bathroom is also tiny. Amenities are bare minimum- soap, shower gel, and shampoo. No beach towel is provided, but if you ask nicely, you can use your bath towel and they will give you a clean one to shower with. Loved that they replace the towels and sheets daily. Odd thing is that they asked you to leave your room key with the Front Deak when you left your room, which I never did. I think they ask you to do this as the people who stay here are generally very young and may lose their key when they go out. Free parking, but it is a small lot. Breakfast is ok- nothing fancy. Expect cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, bread, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. Definitely not a “four star” hotel. I think Expedia needs to review their standards to understand what a four star hotel actually is.

Far Out Vilage located in front of one of the best beaches of the Ios. Hotel facilities and services are ok. One thing that should be taken care is the furniture within the rooms that need a renovation

Bra läge, nära till strand, beachclub och busshållsplats. Tog ca 10 min till stan. Enkel frukost. Rummet var inte så ljudisolerat och kylskåpet lät rätt högt. I helhet ett bra hotell, väldigt fint poolområde. Det var mycket ungdomar i rörelse, men beachcluben var slut vid 22-tiden därefter var det rätt så lugnt. Hotellet hade ingen transfer, men det var smidigt att ta bussen.

I liked the location the most. Right across the road from the beach, short bus ride straight into town, next door to the beach club. Hotel restaurant is also the highlight, food is so good, the paid food I mean. The room was good size for 3 girls and clean and decent, it’s a party place so noise was to be exected but not too loud... not a 5 star resort but good for party and young people. My main concern is always the cleanliness and it was clean, so couldn’t ask for more. I always get so scared after reading bad reviews but I would definitely stay again

La localización del alojamiento es excepcional, pero las habitaciones son bastante normalitas, algo antiguas y el baño es tan pequeño que apenas puedes sentarte sin chocarte con algo. Por lo general si sólo es para dormir, está perfecto.

This hotel looked great online when I was researching hotels on the island of Ios. It had good reviews and a 4.4 star rating. It was a completely different story when we arrived. The rooms were such a disappointment. The floors had food stains on them and the bathroom had the tiniest shower. The worst were the beds. They were so hard, it was like sleeping on rocks, not to mention the bed sheets, which were so scratchy, like sandpaper. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Fui ao farout ainda na baixa temporada, abril, e o beach club estava fechado, mas a piscina do hotel sempre aberta e com música durante todo dia, bem como o mercado, ATM, spa e Quadra. O atendimento do pessoal é excepcional. Eles possuem vans que buscas os hóspedes a cada chegada na balsa e levam de volta para a balsa quando vão embora, este serviço é Free. Também possuem bem à frente do hotel um ponto de ônibus que passa a cada uma hora ao valor de1,80 e levam para cidade. Último horário as 22:15, após esse horário só táxi. Obs: só existem 5 táxis na ilha, então peguem o telefone de algum de sua preferência. A praia a frente do hotel é linda e ele possuem espreguiçadeiras maravilhosas. Na região ainda é possível achar facilmente serviços de esportes aquáticos. Também próximo é possível encontrar locais para aluguel de motos, quadriciclos e carros. O manager do hotel, super prestativo, atencioso e divertido fala português perfeitamente. Enfim, me senti toda a hospedagem como se estivesse em casa. Recomendo e espero ainda voltar para este paraíso.

Hotel ideal pour y faire la fête en pleine saison mais en septembre c tres calme et on a la meilleure plage de l'ile a 20m. Chambre spacieuse mais un manque de propreté.navette qui vous attend et qui vous ramenne au port gratuitement.

Localisation sympa, hôtel cher et surestimé
La localisation est sympa car sur la plage principale de l’ile de Mylopotas. Beaucoup de bons restaurant et de bars agréables. La faune est plutôt (très) jeune et branchée, donc bruyante (il faut que jeunesse se fasse) mais à 22h c est fini. Il ne faut pas se dispenser de voiture pour aller chercher les plages plus tranquilles et plus isolées et plus intimistes. Le farout village est quand à lui totalement surestimé pour un prix avoisinant les 140€ la nuit et un supposé 4* : les chambres sont petites, malodorantes (les remontées de canalisation notamment), nécessitant un net rafraîchissement, mal équipées et peu confortables. Ok il y la piscine pas trop male, mais le bar et restaurant sont largement en dessous de ce que l ont trouve aux environs. Pour la localisation seulement

Lato negativo: Alla prenotazione non è indicato in quale delle 3 strutture far out presenti sull’isola verrete smistati. La camera dove sono capitato io non era di albergo ma una stanza in un complesso di stanze, la pulizia avveniva tutti i giorni alle 15.00 dove si limitavano a togliere le vecchie coperte e ad appoggiartene delle nuove sul letto, che ovviamente dovevi metterti da solo in un secondo momento. La colazione è molto minimal, c’è lo stretto necessario. Lato positivo: piscina molto bella e ricca di confort, posto particolarmente giovane, la stanza dotata di condizionatore molto potente e ampio “giardino”, a due passi dal mare fantastico dell’isola.

Far Out Village
The FarOut Village is located in front of Mylopotas beach. The bungalows are simple but clean and set in a shady garden. Each bungalow has a small terrace in front of it. Nice pool and pool bar with great food. Guests are mostly young people and there is a nice party atmosphere around the hotel.
