Apartment room has no wifi making it difficult to connect internet for every family members. No chair inside bed rooms so guest can sit on beds only. Toilet flushing water comes very slow so have to wait for some time before next flush. Car park is full when there is wedding or function so hotel guest has no parking space. Hope improvements can be done.

While I don't typically complain, my experience at La Kinta Riverfront was extremely disappointing. Despite a nice lobby, the Deluxe King room we paid extra for was far from deluxe. The carpets were stained. Furniture was in poor condition, with ripped leather on the bed frame and a beat-up coffee table. The bathroom lacked the promised rainfall shower head fixture as the handle was broken and had rusty tiles. The safe didn't work, the WiFi was unreliable, and the TV had poor quality. Even the glass cups were dirty. The bedside buttons didn't work, and one fell off the wall. The only positive was the cold AC. We stayed only because we were exhausted from traveling. We planned two nights but left after one, opting for a nicer hotel elsewhere. Save yourself the trouble and money—avoid staying here. Room 14-09, February 19, 2024.

Very good hotel
A good hotel in the city centre of Ipoh. Very good breakfast with really a LOT of choices. One of the best hotels I have stayed thus far.

The superior king size bedroom we stayed in is spacious and the air-cond is cold enough. The mattress is hard, find it very uncomfortable to sleep on, the quilt is too thin, the toilet bowl cover is spoilt. There is no hand towel provided. The location is a bit far out fr the town. You need a car or call e-hailing for that matter.

The breakfast was great as were the staff at breakfast, but that was about the only good thing about the place. The room was old, the window did not close properly, we needed to call three times to get towels delivered. The page for this hotel says the rooms are soundproof and that it has two pools. Neither is accurate. There is one pool, we were kept awake by a noisy party on a lower floor and could hear people in the corridor. For the same price or less, there are better options in Ipoh.

Room 709, mini bar fridge not available. TV no remote. Toilet light faulty. Toilet WC water noise non stop flowing. Bath tub stopper removed. Called reception, she informed housekeeping to send up mini bar fridge & tv remote. Remote given but tv faulty. Reception seems don't bother to call back to check & they should learn basic hospitality to offer the guest instead of waiting for guest to demand for something.

Miserable serviced apartment
Dit complex was een slechte ervaring. We hadden een hotelkamer geboekt voor 5 personen/3 bedrooms en het bleek een serviced appartement te zijn in het naastgelegen gebouw. Het hotel leek prima, maar dit gedeelte was een grote teleurstelling. Slecht onderhouden, het behang kwam van de muren af, het slot van het balkon moesten we laten repareren omdat het omgedraaid zat (!), lekkage/overlopende afvoer in de badkamer, geen wifi, en zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan. We moesten overal om vragen. Wel alle lof voor Raihan van cleaning service, die op ons verzoek uitmuntend werk afleverde. De waterdruk en de airconditioning waren wel goed. Het zwembad en de (slecht onderhouden) gym gingen pas om 9:00 open, maar het lukte om één keer een uitzondering te maken, zodat we vóór het ontbijt onze baantjes konden trekken. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid, stijlvol en smakelijk. Conclusie: er wordt duidelijk niet geïnvesteerd in de serviced apartments. Parkeren was niet (meer) gratis zoals aangegeven op de website.

Very poor WiFi connection. No WiFi in the apartment. Breakfast buffet was not good. Room service was horrible. Overall its an expensive hotel but the facilities are limited.

it is Ok.
Front desk staff are very friendly n helpful. The receiption hall is very spacious n clean. Hotel bathroom inside not provided with hand towel，tooth brush n tooth paste. The breakfast is very impressive with many food choices. Restaurants n cafe in hotel are good.

To those who are reading the review before taking the decision to reserve this property, I would not recommend it unless the property had major refurbishment after this review posting date. The Staff: I hope they can be more approachable and welcome. This is a four-star hotel, thus I expect someone would greet me upon entry, guide me to the reception counter, and offer assistance with luggage. Room Condition: I can hear a spring noise each time I turn around, and the pillow smells like someone drooling, the door lock mechanism is hard to double lock. The room definitely does not give me a 4-star feeling. The Breakfast: This is by far the best part of my stay. The restaurant ambiance is nice and they have two sections AC and Non AC. Their food variety is unique and something that you won't normally see in other hotels. Their F&B Team is great as well. They are quick in replenishing food / clearing the table and approachable. I would return there for coffee and breakfast. A big no for stay tho.

Hotel is rated as luxury 4 stars hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel is not kept well being condition being old and even so not clean. The toilet, bedsheet and towels provided are of old and dirty quality. Breakfast was negative. Could speak nothing positive of the hotel.

Lacks maintenance.
Great staff let down by maintenance and care. There are lots of defects: the elevators card security system is disconnected, the gym is a dangerous joke (even the half filled weights rack is assembled incorrectly). In our room the clearly damaged safe only worked while forcing it shut while locking, a light switch dangled out of its socket, the shower selected was locked solid. The smart electrical controls in the room looked OK but let down by lack of charging points.

Excellent service from staff
Mira, Hotel Manager is extremely helpful and also the concierge Mindser service is really great. However all their effort are in vain because the hotel facilities are run down - broken doors, shower kits not working with black tapes wrapped around, stained carpets, dirty Lobby toilets, etc Would highly recommend the hotel owner and management to renovate the hotel otherwise more of their long time customers will look elsewhere to stay when they are in town.

Freundliche, kompetente und zuvorkommende Mtarbeiter. Sauberes, gut ausgestattetes Zimmer mit Fernblick. Zu den Einrichtungen zählen u.a. ein Fitnesscenter und ein erfrischender Pool. Bahnhof und Altstadt jeweils ca. 15minütiger Fußweg, bzw. 5RM mit Taxi, oder Grab Fahrdienst.
