“The Good: The main hotel at Harvey’s Point, as well as its restaurant and bar, were fantastic. The hospitality and atmosphere in the main property were very high quality, setting a wonderful standard. The Bad (The Lodge Experience): Unfortunately, The Lodge feels like the neglected stepchild of the property. “Very safe property with motion activated lights on all stairways, fire extinguishers, railings on stairs, things of that nature. Is close to town and very walkable. There’s a grocery store nearby, Aldi, and close to restaurants and pubs. I liked how they had French presses to do wonderful coffee in the morning.”

“Good location. The spacious and modern apartments are situated right in the center. Excellent beds. Mini fridge. Parking is available right outside. A good base for exploring the south of County Donegal. The town itself is small and lively.”

“Standard Room. Room itself had some damage (peeled paint, stained carpet) bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom/shower was nice. View of the ocean was wonderful. No mini fridge, ice machine, or water refills so plan ahead (there is a cash only vending machine for bottled water and snacks) Staff was kind and helpful. Bar drink prices were reasonable for a hotel bar.”
