“Great breakfast, quality ingredients and well cooked.”

“Good: -Great location near cathedral & ( limited space, unreservable) free parking. -Clean period property.Good beds. Tea & coffee. Good room cleaning staff. Room first impressions comfy. No lift but not an issue for us on 1st floor. *BUT...Beautiful hotel but would not stay again unless following points addressed: Bad: -Room change requests to avoid the following problems were refused during 4 day stay.- NO sleep-Very noisy (loud waterfall gushing sounds) antique heating on 5am -9:30 & 5pm...

“Would love to be able to give a higher rating because there is lots of amenities in room the staff were friendly room serviced daily free WiFi lovely big garden birds and trees and in a great position to explore Ely. It was quiet and dark. Unfortunately the place stinks of stale cigarettes which as a non smoker with heart and lung conditions is very off-putting and means I wouldn't stay here again. The room was very dusty with questionable stains on the carpet and linen and yellowing paintwork....

“The location is superb, on the waterside, a very good pub/restaurant (The Cutter Inn) nearby, accommodation is spotless, breakfast excellent. Don't let the name confuse you - it is not an inn, it is a guest house, but a very good one that I will go to again. Apart from at breakfast I saw no staff at all so can't comment on that aspect but it works.”
