"On the Isle of Skye... if you drive to almost the end of the island... you find this hotel on the side of a hill overlooking a beautiful bay.
The hotel had its own restaurant and pub ... which make the stay perfect. You can park and enjoy yourself. I walked to the end of the road (to the ferry launch) and back in 30 minute walk.
It feels like the end of the world and the most beautiful."
"Unique location near a river and loch. Stunning property, ok breakfast and food. Staff were great . Room nicely decorated, and bed comfy.
We felt it was quite expensive overall."
"The pods are great and the rooms are clean though a bit small but functional we just would’ve liked to have had a little more housekeeping attention and the dining room was booked both nights we were there which was frustrating because it was so beautiful, but the breakfast were delicious and the location is ideal"
"Location is beautiful and scenic, with a delicious restaurant right next door. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. The advertised soaker tub was broken, but otherwise a very pleasant stay."
"The hotel is located inside a sheep farm and next to the water. Beautiful quiet location. Love seeing the sheeps and hearing their bleeps. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Even the smallest guest room is spacious. We enjoy the common space of the sunroom/library. Some potholes on the road where we first entered the farm, just 20-30 meters. Drive slow and you are fine — you should drive slow anyway as sheep’s are everywhere"
"The place is older and hasn't seen the best of maintenance in recent years it seems. The door to the bathroom in our room did not close due to misalignment. The shower stall had mold in the corners. The room itself smelled and felt damp. Nobody on site to complain to so we lived with it.
Considering our experience and what was paid we would not come back unless other options were booked up. Yes the place is cheaper than a lot in the area however it was still overpriced in our eyes."
