Our stay at Minnie’s was lovely. We had the room facing the loch and the view was amazing.
She served a light breakfast with fresh coffee and tea in the morning with cereals and fresh fruit also available. Although a little out of the way from all the sightseeing, it made for fun traveling across the island on the crazy single lane roads. We ate at the Indian place next door as well as the pizza place across the street.
Small adorable little village of Dunvegan
Minnie is a very friendly and kind host. The bed was comfortable and the room was adequate for our one night stay.
The continental breakfast was ample and enjoyed at our window looking out over the fantastic lake views.
Our stay at Minnie’s Room was unique and wholesome! We enjoyed having the comfort and ease of breakfast in our room in the mornings and the ability to travel around the Isle of Skye and Dunvegan! Thank you for being part of our memorable honeymoon!
We really enjoyed our stay! Mayenne was so kind to offer my daughter homemade soup when she didn't feel well!
Great place to start exploring the Western part of Skye!
The breakfast was excellent, served in our room on a trolley, enjoyed with a beautiful view over the loch. The hospitality and attention to our needs was perfect.
We did two nights at Minnie’s. We wish it could have been longer. Maryanne was so gracious. The room was very nice and offered all needed amenities. The. Breakfast was wonderful. The house sits on the water in Dunvengan. The castle is a five minute drive. Portree half hour. Easy drive to old man of storr and many more sites. Highly recommend Minnie’s rooms
The outside doesn’t look very appealing, but the room was surprisingly good. It has a chair, small sofa and a table and chairs to eat your food at. Unfortunately they do not provide face cloths, so I suggest you bring some if needed. The lady provided a cart with juice, milk, coffee, toast and warm croissants just outside your room each morning. There was cereal and fresh fruit in the hall shelves along with butter, jams, peanut butter. Also a small bar fridge in hall for all to use.
Room was clean and the owner was very accommodating.
Parking was available.
I stayed overnight having come up to Skye for work. I had a great stay, peaceful and a good nights sleep.
Breakfast in front of the big window was a pleasure before a days work.
Will be back if im up again!
The owner was super friendly and the room was beautiful and priced reasonably for being on the Isle of Skye. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed our stay.
really good, quiet location with plenty of parking. our room was spacious and comfortable with wonderful views. breakfast was served to our room each day and we could sit at our table to eat while looking across the loch. bed, shower, and all facilities were perfect
