The hotel was very quaint and quite lovely. The staff was outstanding in every way from handling problems to giving great local advice to even running after us to retrieve the room key that we took accidentally. The breakfast was very nice and the location was outstanding only a few minutes from each of the tourist highlights of Istanbul. The view from our room was terrific and the room was quite spacious and comfortable.

Fantastic location, friendly and helpful staff, couldn’t do enough to help to ensure our stay was the best. Special mention to Kaan, who was on reception. Small hotel with a fabulous rooftop terrace. Plenty of choice for breakfast too.

Great staff, very convenient, a few bocks to the subway. Ömer was a lot of help with directions for the subway and other places. I wish could have stayed another week the Turkish people could not have been more wonderful.

The hotel is right at the heart of the city within walking distance of all the main sites with plenty of good food options including street food directly outside which was excellent. The views from the top floor terrace are amazing for sunrise and sunset views of Hagia Sophia and the ships on the Bosporus

Great hotel

This is a great hotel for the price they charge. The free buffet breakfast is wonderful. The rooms are cleaned every day and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is in GREAT location 5 minutes by foot to Sultanamet square and the tram. 10 minutes to the Grand Bazaar. Third time in Istanbul and this is my go to hotel. Very highly recommended.

I had a lovely stay here. The location is terrific! You can walk to all the sites in Old Town. The room was nice and I had a nice little balcony. One of the best parts was the AMAZING rooftop terrace. The view is just stunning!

We stayed in the Bosphorus suite, which quickly became a cherished, quiet and breezy sanctuary from the heat and noise of the city. We particularly enjoyed both our private little deck, and the rooftop observation deck, which provided stunning 360-degree views of the city. The hotel is excellently situated, within walking distance to all attractions, and the staff seemed sincerely eager to help out with whatever we might need.

Great boutique hotel in Sultanamet

Amazing buffet breakfast. Housekeeping made the bed everyday. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. They even helped to fix my I Phone when it locked up! Even the WiFi is good. Excellent hotel. We stayed in Agora life hotel for 5 nights and i will say it was a wonderful experience. The staff were ever so sweet and helpful when approached. The hotel is a 4 star hotel and not so extravagant but what i really appreciate the most is that everything you need was there like the smallest of things like cotton buds and slippers, which you probably woudnt get from other 4 star hotels. The hospitality from front staff to back office staff was so friendly. Breakfast could be better as it was the same cold breakfast everyday. Location was perfect as it was walking distance from most of the tourist sites and even more bonus, only 10 minutes away from the local tram! Thank you for making our stay wonderful Agora Life Hotel.

The place was spotless and the young man at the desk was incredibly helpful. He went out of his way to help us. I was thoroughly impresses by him. The location was great. Easy sightseeing from here. Breakfast was different but mostly typical to the area. The only problem I had was there was not a shuttle that I thought was provided. Other than that it was great!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is very tired and run down. The bathroom especially needs to be refinished. The furniture is scuffed and sad. Our electric outlets blew a fuse multiple times a day. A workman kept coming to fix it but the fix would only last a few minutes. The room had a beautiful view and a nice little outdoor terrace and is a good size.

Great stay but not 4 star. This hotel is perfect for someone staying in Istanbul for the first time as you are a few minutes walk away from the two main Mosques, the grand bazaar and other attractions. You are also close to the metro line to explore other areas of the city. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. However, the hotel itself is not 4 stars in my opinion. The rooms are very outdated, the bed was very uncomfortable, the breakfast options aren’t what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The bathroom also had a bad smell at times. The walls are quite thin so you hear everything from the halls and other rooms. The terrace is nice and gives you views across the city, would be better if breakfast was served there rather than carrying it upstairs in the lift to enjoy the views. Overall, overpriced but good if you just want to be close to the main attractions. I would recommend staying a little further away as the metro is great and saving some money. Sultanhamet is very expensive.
