Terrible Experience – Avoid if You Can
This was one of the worst stays we’ve ever had. We booked three nights but left after one, paying for another hotel to save our holiday. Both rooms had serious issues: one was dirty with hair on the bed and musty towels; the bathroom had cracked glass, mold, no real ventilation, and a strong odor. The second room had no curtain on one window, so no privacy. Doors were flimsy and left large gaps—you could see and hear everything from the hallway, which felt unsafe.
Noise was constant due to thin walls and loud guests, making sleep impossible. This is not a hotel but a family-run house, poorly maintained, with steep, dangerous stairs. Photos online are misleading, taken to hide the property’s many flaws.
Breakfast was served in a tiny, detached kitchen that barely fits four people. The food was of very low quality, and we saw linens stored directly on the floor behind a door—raising serious hygiene concerns.
We contacted Expedia to request a refund, and while they supported our claim, the property refused any reimbursement.
To be fair, the only positives were the new, functional air conditioning and a comfortable mattress. But that’s not enough to justify staying here.
