Stayed 6 nights. One of excellent stay experience there. There Suana steam bath services and SPA real good. Buffet breakfast was real delicious with so many choices. Room service and all other staff real Professional. Would like to stay there again if get chance to visit Istanbu.

I’ve lost count how many times I’ve stayed it’s so good this hotel it was my wife’s second time staying here she and I agree the staff are great they went above and beyond for us they are so welcoming as soon as you arrive someone helps you with your bags which is exceptional even when we were changing rooms they were helpful they came and did everything for us they even gave me a birthday card which was a nice touch the rooms are brilliant huge beds cleans rooms and great shower power

My stay here was amazing, the room was clean and was well presented. The gym was very big and had everything that I needed, and spa area was very pleasant. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming from the moment I arrived. I would highly recommend this hotel, and special thanks to Misra and Elif for the smooth and quick check out. I will definitely be returning soon.

My family and I stayed here in July 2024 and had a great experience. The staff is nice, friendly, and polite. If you want to use the pool, you must buy and wear a swimming cap, which they sell for 60 TL.

The hotel is in a slightly industrial type area affording a good opportunity to see work and bustle in a non-tourist environment but still with many local restaurants to hand. Istanbul library is a short walk (we'll worth a visit for it's community spaces) and T4 metro/tram line station is also very close by. They serve a good breakfast and we all enjoyed swimming in the pool.

Best Hotel of My Trip – Exceptional Service! This is hands down the best hotel I stayed at during my trip! The service was absolutely amazing—I’ve never experienced service like this in Turkey. The valet parking team and security staff were incredibly nice, respectful, and spoke English very well. The service felt like more than 5 stars, and they were extremely generous! The room was very clean and spacious, making it totally worth the money. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from Taksim and Galata Port, but it wasn’t an issue for me since we had a car. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!

The property and the services exceeded my expectations. I was there for 8 nights and i had a great stay! Only minus is the area (lots of mechanic shops, and warehouses, etc.) There isn't much to do on foot. But with a car, you can get to everything you need to in less than 10-15 minutes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lionel hotel, it had parking and friendly staff. Despite a slight misunderstanding at check in all was resolved by the hotel manager Zara, even giving us a discounted upgrade and free breakfast for a day. It was comfortable and the hotel is fairly up to a good standard, better than many 5 star hotels in Istanbul we have stayed in. The only improvement that could be made is the charges involved in bringing up certain things to the room which should be free at a 5 star hotel. The spa facilities were great and the rooms were always cleaned to a good standard, thanks to the cleaning team! Would definitely recommend

I recently stayed at Lionel Hotel Istanbul and had a mixed experience. The hotel has a good location and offers decent service, but there were some issues that impacted my stay. While the staff was accommodating, there were cleanliness concerns, including dirty shoe prints in the bathroom and a hair found between the bed sheet and blanket. Housekeeping seemed inconsistent and could improve attention to detail. Additionally, the bathroom ventilation fan in my first room wasn’t working, and the bed configuration in that room caused disturbances due to sliding beds. On the positive side, the hotel did upgrade our room twice, and when we requested smaller pillows at 4 a.m., they responded. However, service was sometimes slow—for example, it took over two hours to receive drinking water after requesting it. Overall, this hotel offers medium-quality service. If you come with moderate expectations, it can still be a comfortable stay. I would recommend it, but not if you’re expecting top-tier luxury or flawless service.
