Normally very good, but not on this occasion

This hotel is my favourite place to stay when in Istanbul. I’ve stayed here many times. On longer stays I book the junior or delux suites and have experienced no issues at all. However, I’ve noticed that when I stay in the standard rooms for a shorter stay the water never gets hot. On this stay we had to have cold showers, soap dispensers were empty, the safe wasn’t operable and I got an electric shock from the plug socket.

Disappointing service despite great room

I booked a Junior Suite and added a polite request for a higher floor and a bathtub if available. Instead, we were checked into a Standard Double Room, which is much smaller and over €150 cheaper per night. When we complained, the hotel admitted it was a mistake and moved us to the correct room – but only from the second night. Despite this downgrade, we were only refunded €20, which is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the hotel falsely claimed they “upgraded” us to a King Room with a jacuzzi and view – something we never asked for or received. That said, once we were finally placed in the Junior Suite, the room was perfect – spacious, comfortable, and with a beautiful view. It’s a shame the overall experience was tainted by poor handling and misleading communication.

Lacking kitchen cleaning amenities, tea towels etc. Staff had a nice attitude but the hotel was very lacking in tourist information and information about facilities. I would look for a better a standard for the claimed star rating on my next visit. It was OK but disappointing. a toilet

Solid location. Turning on AC was not intuitive, but one I learned how, comfort improved significantly. Generally helpful staff. Bathroom has a bit of a sewage/pipe drainage smell, but that would go away one AC/air circulation was turned on. I would stay again at this hotel due to the location and now knowing what things to do in the hotel to ensure better comfort.

The staff of this hotel are wonderful! I have been staying there for the last 4 years at least 3 times a year . However, I took my daughters with me this time and we were disappointed with the AC- even when you leave the spare card in it shuts down by itself.

Otelin yeri ve odalar genel olarak iyi. Odama kapıdan ışık sızması ile ilgi bir sorun nedeni ile ilk gece uyuyamadım. İki asansörün de teki arızalı idi. Resepsiyonda ilgisizdi. Aynı gün gündüz de tamirat ve gürültü vardı. Ertesi gün sorun giderildi ve rahattı. Her iki asansör çalışıyordu. Genel olarak fiyat kalite oranı ve yeri iyi bir otel. İlk gün üst üste gelen aksilikler hariç kalınabilir bir otel.

Işıktan Parlamasından Uyuyamadım

Otelin konumu ve genel kondisyonu iyi. Fakat oda kapısının üzerindeki buzlu camlı kutucuklardan ışık sızıyor ve gece her seferinde sensörlü olduklarından aktive olup gece odada ışık patlamasına sebep oluyorlar. Mimari açıdan çok yanlış bir planlama. Kaliteli bir uyku uyumamı engelledi. Gece resepsiyonla konuştum yapabileceğimiz bir şey yok dediler, çok can sıkıcıydı.
