“When on arrival we felt that we weren't very welcome, the landlady was rather offish because we had arrived a little bit earlier than we should. But we had just driven over 200 miles and 4 hours driving (without a stop) to get there and all we wanted to do, was just to drop off our suitcases and park the car up for our stay there and just sit down for 10 minutes, there wasn't even a welcome, cup tea or cold drink. “The toilet was on the outside of the room which i was not expecting when i had booked a room with a private bathroom. The shower also steps onto carpet and there is no exhaust fan and no way to open the window which makes room quite humid when trying to straighten hair. Also concerned also the shower had some mould in it. The no exhaust fan with the shower being in the room could lead to mould problems in the future. Otherwise okay”

“Good breakfast, host was helpful, room and property looking very tired. , Parking was not straight forward, if your lucky you can park outside, otherwise parking at rear of property very very tight spaces overall a pleasent enough stay.”

“The room was very clean and accessible. it had a shared bathroom but was otherwise self contained. The hostess (Cath?) was very helpful and responsive. The building looked more residential than a hotel but did exactly what I needed it to. I'm happy to recommend it for a short stay.”
