The hotel was great, the staff were very helpful. WiFi really only works best in the lobby and it is on a tight busy street. Within walking distance of the ocean. For the price you can’t beat it.

This is a great budget hotel. The quad room is really small but it will fit your family in 4 beds. The breakfast is great! Turkish/greek style of breakfast with olives, feta, little beads, coffee and tea and cheese.. very close to some anxiety syrian donar huts. Market super close. It was inexpensive and safe. Front desk family totally great. Very sweet nice people who care.. quiet building. If stay again.

The hotel is very well located, and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, there's no elevator, the rooms don't have blackout curtains, and the bathrooms need maintenance and smell of damp and plumbing. I didn't find it to be a good value.

Decent accommodation for a cheap price!

100% RECOMMEND!! It was a wonderful experience at Olimpiyat Hotel. The cheapest accommodation in town. It was really affordable, the staff was quite friendly and overall cleaning was decent. Obviously do not expect a 5-star hotel comfort, there are no spa or pool options or anything... We just needed a place to sleep at night because during the day we were travelling around the city. Did not spend so much time inside but when we did, it was more than alright. My only complain is the wifi was bad. If you need a good internet connection, this is not your hotel. But otherwise, I'd say just go for it.

I recently stayed at OLIMPIYAT OTEL IZMIR and had mixed feelings about the experience. We arrived around midnight, and the area seemed quite deserted, which felt a bit unsafe. The streets were poorly lit, and we noticed some questionable activity nearby. It’s definitely a neighborhood that seems more suited to daytime activity than late-night arrivals. That said, once inside, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff was welcoming. If you’re planning to stay here, I’d recommend arriving during the day for a smoother experience and a better first impression of the surroundings.

The room was very dirty and in disrepair. On arrival I reported stagnant dirty water in the gaps of the bathroom sliding door, and complained about the smell of smoke. Air freshener was sprayed but they never dried up the water. The toilet didn’t flush and the shower head was damaged, water going everywhere. We had aircon issues but they did come to fix that. The noise from outside all night long was also unpleasant. I had stayed at this hotel before but it was not as bad as it was this time. I would not stay again.
