"Beautiful location, friendly effecient staff. Breakfast was good. Only concerns was the pillows were rock hard and no ice machine. (That we could find!)"
"This is maybe my 5th time staying at the Grand. I think it’s hands down the best hotel for us- when my kids were younger and even now when they are a little older but still appreciate the free ice cream, movie theater and games. The breakfast was great. The indoor and outdoor pool, playground, hot tub and large fire pit are really great features not all the nice hotels have. Finally this year what I appreciated most were the laundry machines! After getting caught in the rain several times we really needed to put the towels and shoes in a dryer! And when I forgot my toothpaste they had all the toiletries you might need available. Can’t wait till next time at this hotel!"
"We had two adjoining rooms which were very clean and spacious. We ate at the restaurant for dinner the first night and the waitress and food were very good. All the staff were very nice. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again."
"Great little gem of a hotel! We got a great deal that exceeded all expectations. The Lift Line suite was roomy with comfortable beds. The property has lots of things to do, clean pool (but cold!) and two hot tubs. The resort restaurant, The Shovel Handle, has excellent food and service. The location of the property itself can't be beat. A great stay, 10/10!"
"My husband and I went to the Inn to celebrate our anniversary. I cannot praise the staff enough for all that they did to make our stay incredible.
On a separate note, I had left something in our room when we were there in June. The cleaning staff knew me, and put it aside until I returned. Absolutely above and beyond her scope of job. James and Sherri also exceeded our expectations.
We got married at a nearby hotel, but selected this one to celebrate in as personal attention and guest satisfaction is of utmost importance.
The amenities our simple, but beautiful, and the award-winning cuisine is delicious and diverse.
On another note, we are considering making a party here for a spring weekend. Mark and Sherry were attentive to what I envision for it, offered excellent ideas and together will do their best to see that my party will be a success. Thanks to all for a wonderful weekend."
"Had a last minute change in our plans and needed a place to stay near StoryLand. Covered Bridge was the choice. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfy, we had a late check in (after 8 PM) and the staff was responsive. The property is older but that wasn’t anything that deterred us from staying. We needed a clean, comfortable, central place to sleep for two nights after each day packed with activities and it did the job! The room with two double beds was sufficient for 1 adult and 3 kids (under 12)."
