The hotel is beautiful. The staff was excellent. I was traveling alone and felt perfectly comfortable. I had dinner in the tavern the first night and sat at the bar being alone that is more comfortable for me, the bartender was very friendly and kept a conversation going. The room was beautiful, comfortable. and very clean. I did not get to use the spa it was closed for repair. I did however use the pool and it was very clean not crowded suprisingly for a very hot day very refreshing. I would definitely visit again

This place was the highlight of our vacation. Beautiful room, extra large and with a sharable hot tub with 3 other rooms. We were in a suite in the Amster building. Not sure if it is the same for everyone. The best part were the complimentary drinks and snacks. Our kids loved the fresh baked cookies! Grounds are beautiful too. So much to do around if you like the outdoors!

Comfortable bed but loud overhead with people walking above us. Could not find the common area for shared Keurig machine, toilet wobbly, bath floor tiles cracked & poster bed corner blocked wall TV. Very pricey breakfast was so- so & don’t plan on staying there again. One nice thing that happened was we were given another room of equal value when we discovered water leaking from the ceiling in our original reserved room.

I was looking for a quiet and relaxing place for a quick stay after a long day hike. The Wentworth main building was nearly perfect with an inviting space, cozy dining, a complimentary pantry of snacks on every floor, decent food, and live music on Thursday evenings. The bathrooms in the rooms could use an update, but other than that I enjoyed the stay and staff were very accommodating.

Beautifully maintained old Inn in Jackson, NH. All the comforts, fire places, lounge and game areas, bar and restaurant along with a snack/coffee area with home made cookies on every floor in the main inn. Beds very comfy and clean. Bathrooms small and dated but clean. Enjoyed our 2 night stay, will be back!
