Great service, staff were kind, room was clean and beautiful, especially my room was so cute! One of my favorite hotel and definitely want to come back again.

Needs some repair

Property needs some repair. Very basic. Nowhere to hang towels as towel rack broken and hanging off. No face washer. No hand towel. The view is not what is advertised as there are buildings obstructing the view of the fort. Don't book for the view. If you want a good view of fort go to Lal Garh a 2 minute walk away that has a roof top restaurant. Food was good. Laundry service good. Otherwise comfortable stay once the heater was working (had to ask 3 times). Hot water unreliable.

Enjoyed my stay here. Very friendly staff. I actually arrived very late at night, thanks to Indian Railways and someone from the hotel came to meet me at the station and drove me to the hotel. This was amazing service and such a relief for me as I was incredibly tired. We even completed check-in the next morning so I could sleep first! The hotel is perfectly situated, good air-conditioning in the room, and very spacious. They also arranged for me to travel to Jodhpur so I could catch my onward flight to Delhi. I would certainly recommend staying here for a visit to Jaisalmer.

Hi, The property looks good in pictures but little different once you get in the rooms. Rooms are still good to stay for a night or two, but the owner of the this Pleasant Hotel doesn’t know what customer service is. Had the most horrible and uniquely bad customer service with all my years of traveling. Me and my partner were travellers from Canada and booked a room at their hotel for 3 nights. When we checked in our friend’s parent’s (over 70 age) needed to rest until their flight time which was in 2 hours. So we took them to our room booked at this hotel, but the owner didn’t like this and told me to get out of the property as we will not allow anyone except the 2 guests booked. I explained him the situation that they are old and they are here only for 2 hours. He was very adamant on kicking us out. It seemed like he took it on his ego. He said no hotel in the world allows anyone else except the guests booked. We have travelled to many countries and many cities, never seen anything to what he claims. I almost laughed because just couple nights ago me and my partner stayed for few hours at a different hotel in Jaiselmer where my friends were staying. They clearly didn’t had problem with guest’s friend so not sure where this guy bringing his facts from. In the end I had to apologize and beg him to not kick us out as I didn’t want to cause any inconvenience to the elderlies. But I knew I could definitely leave a review on what happened there.

A really excellent and affordable stay - located just outside the fort with beautiful views of it from the rooftop restaurant. Only a 10-15 minute walk from the fort as well. The food at te restaurant was excellent; there are limited breakfast options but an extensive list of lunch/ dinner items. The room we stayed in was clean and well/decorated. It was on the smaller side but this wasn’t an issue for us. We coupled our stay with the camel safari offered by the hotel and it was excellent - I highly recommend it! You sleep under the open stars directly on cots on the dunes (not in tents). This wouldn’t suit someone who likes a little luxury but is perfect for anyone looking for a less touristy and unique experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay seamless, from a 4:30am complimentary pick up at the train station to options on what to see in the city.

Excellent séjour a Pleasant Haveli

Séjour très agréable, l’hôtel est bien situé pour pouvoir explorer Jaisalmer à pied, tout en étant légèrement a l’écart, et donc au calme. La terrasse est très agréable le matin et le soir !

Located outside the fort but great central location. Great views of fort from rooftop restaurant. Comfy beds and whimsical rooms with by gone raja era feel. Shower clean with hot water and pressure. Staff go out of their way to help in any way from directions, luggage storage for overnight desert trip and even offered room to shower when we got back. Highly recommended

5 star service and accomodation

Our stay at the hotel was amazing. The service from all of the hotel staff was first class, helping us with everything we needed. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. The rooftop view of the fort was so good too.

We are a family of four and had booked two rooms in the hotel. Our experience was very pleasant from start to finish, just as their name suggests. The rooms are well-appointed. The service was friendly and courteous, the food in the restaurant was freshly made and excellent, the camel safari organized by the hotel was very enjoyable, and there was always a free supply of cold drinking water which was a godsend in the July heat. Krishna and his team were very accommodating - we were allowed to keep one room past check-out time because our flight was later in the afternoon. Highly recommended!

My mother and I really loved Hotel Pleasant Haveli and were sad to leave. I'd recommend it to travellers looking for a clean and quiet boutique hotel. The food and view from the terrace and restaurant is fabulous and very budget friendly.

Pleasant stay in pleasant haweli.Its a small hotel but its very beautiful.rooms are beautifully designed with all amenities.Rooms are neat and clean.Hotel has nice rooftop restaurant which serves fresh and delicious food.you can enjoy Fort view from rooftop restaurant. Very comfortable stay

Staffs were welcoming that made us feel good as soon as we reached at the hotel. Room was very clean and silent with all the amenities you need for a night. Room decoration is nicely done with decent color furniture which actually matches to the golden color of the city. Bathroom was clean, only one fault in the room was water was leaking a little from the hand wash sink while running water. Staffs were all kind and cool. Rooftop restaurant has an amazing fort view with tasty and fresh food. Overall very nice place to stay.

Friendly run and helpful management, a little ways from the fort, on a quietish road. A few things didn't work- but minor issues. They upgraded me so can't really complain. A few complaints about the toilet and shower but again nothing major. Bed was comfortable and good for a long rest. The food is good- but the meat dishes I would recommend having elsewhere. All in all a fair to good place for the price.

Once in a lifetime

The stay was amazing. Krishna, the manager, and all the staff were friendly, courteous and incredibly kind and helpful. We spent one magical night in tje desert......arranged by the hotel and a memorable morning with a nintj generation jeweller. The hotel was well located and the rooftop deck and restaurant was a huge bonus.

cosy hotel in the city with nice terrace

I enjoyed to stay there and room was very nice and comfortable. People from reception are competent. Restaurant food is ok, staff also ok but not well trained but absolutely ok for the stay. Internet access is like everywhere in India not on high level so don't get angry when it's not working. Most hotels are not on international standard, all improvised but everyone try to give there best. India has lot to offer and the city with fort is extremely beautiful. Streets are like everywhere full of motorbikes and loud mixed with cows. But great atmosphere I like and enjoy.

room is very clean and the hotel service is nice.

The hotel provide free train pick up service after midnight which is very convenient.

Cet hôtel à tout pour plaire : accueil au top (récupération à la gare et dépôt à la fin du séjour même à 6h du matin), excellent rapport qualité prix, chambres très belles et belle vie depuis le rooftop. Je le recommande sans aucune hésitation pour tous les voyageurs de passage à Jaisalmer.

A paradise's corner in Jaisalmer

The hotel has a very good location because all the major attractions are at a walking distance. The staff is very kind and helpful and the rooms are clean and with all the necessary. Last but not least the roof top restaurant serve very good food and has an amazing view of the fortress. Definitely I will recommend this hotel in Jaisalmer!

The staff here went out of their way to help us: free water and fruit, ferrying us around to ATMs and to book bus tickets (saving us from being conned out of money for said bus tickets - actually. Their restaurant was lovely. Their camel safari was great; we found ourselves enjoying Bawani's company more than the actual camel riding! All in all, fantastic - you don't see cleanliness and kindness much in India. It was a lovely break! Wouldn't stay anywhere else if I went back.
