โThe AC Hotel by Marriott had a great location and walkable from the train station. Close to the city center with amazing river views. Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Inverness. Restaurant and bar was very good and staff very helpful and friendly. โ
โBooked online. There is a bar downstairs that closes at midnight. If you donโt mind being kept awake until 2 am because of the noise from the bar and the people and traffic in the street then this is the place for you. The room was nice enough. A fan would have been greatly appreciated. Parking is off site. โ
โI liked the location very much, the hostel was pretty neat and the host kindly treated me. If you visit Inverness again, I will use this place next time.โ
โThe staff were amazing. So friendly and kind. Trying to help out where ever they could. Always a smile on their face. If I ever go back to Inverness I will for sure stay there again, even if itโs 15-20 minutes outside the city. โ
โFirst time visitor to Invergordon. Truckers inn was easy to find with great views of Cromarty firth. On my arrival I was warmly greeted with good explanations regarding my stay. It was easy to book a table for dinner. My room was basic but ample for my needs. I had a good sleep and very pleasant stay.โ
โEverything was better than expected and went smooth as silk. The room layout was quirky in the best of ways! Not a simple rectangle box - more like a suite - bedroom, bathroom, a teeny entry foyer, a couple of steps separating all three. In the heart of Inverness Center (Centre, if you prefer). Everything a tourist could want is within a short walk. The booking said unstaffed/no front desk; however, their was a Hootananny rep, familiar with our reservation and gave us an easy welcome - who...
โIn summer, this is one of the good hotels you can choose in highland area. I had difficulty in trying to find and reserve a satisfactory hotel in highland because my reservation was made only one month earlier. If you take into consideration price, room cleanness, breakfast and staff kindness, etc., this is one of best choices that you can make during summer season. If you are a little bit late for early reservation, this hotel is highly recommended.โ
โThe location was great for the station. The check in was via the bar and the man was very friendly and helpful. He appeared to be working alone. The hotel itself although clean and comfortable was in desperate need of updating and maintenance - the gutters were great for the grass! Didn't try the shower or the breakfast. Ok for 1 night.โ
โLovely building in a quiet area but easily walkable to the town centre. Thereโs a car park right at the hotel. Check in was in the bar area, which was fine, thereโs no lift but thereโs only a couple of floors anyway. No breakfast but we were already aware and happy to eat elsewhere. Room and en-suite were nice, room had a fridge which was great! We had plenty of towels. Only drawbacks were, bed was a bit creaky, and the bathroom could have done with a little shelf or worktop to set toiletries ...
โWunderschรถnes Altes Gutshaus mitten in Strathpeffer!
โRooms have been recently renovated, the young lady at the desk actually took the time to show us to our rooms. I have never had that happen before. โ
