Very attentive owners who run the place and are very knowledgeable with recommendations to local attractions. Very clean & nice little suite with all needed amenities and resonably priced in Israeli hotel standards. Very good value for cost in Jerusalem. Honers serve a very nice Israeli breakfast daily.
An old templer house built in the 19th century converted into a boutique hotel.
The place has an interesting history, the owner Yuval welcoming and cordial.
Location is superb with transportation available to all city’s main attraction.
The Templer in is a fabulous place. The location is on a quiet street. And is a few steps away from The First Station and it’s many fine restaurants. You can walk off lunch or dinner by strolling through Train Track Park. The walk to the Old City is 10-15. The Templer Inn’s architecture is unique. The breakfast is wonderful! My wife and I have stayed in many B&B’s and we feel this the best one we have stayed in. This will be our go to place when traveling to Jerusalem. I can’t say enough about our gracious host Alon and his wife, they are helpful, informative and knowledgeable. Book a stay today!!!
Our stay at the Templer Inn was one of the highlights of our time in Jerusalem, and added immeasurable to the overall experience. The location in the German Colony is excellent. Our room was spacious with a separate living area and large bathroom. The best part was interacting with our hosts, the owners, Alon and his wife, Revaya, at the generous breakfast service. The Inn had been Alon's home growing up, and no wonder they take such loving care. He was helpful with my getting there after taking the wrong train. They live nearby, and Alon also provided great recommendations for restaurants within walking distance. He also helped with practical questions about Jerusalem. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Jerusalem.
Wonderful and warm host and hostess. Willing to help throughout our stay went out of their way many times. Can’t say enough about how enjoyable our stay was
This is a great bed and breakfast with a wonderful host couple. It was nice to have the extra living room space outside the door of our bedroom. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful - they helped us with our lost luggage and shared stories of the history of the place. We had lovely breakfasts in their courtyard. The location was great as well. Easily walkable to Jaffe gate and right across the street from the old train station where there are lots of great restaurants and some shopping.
Unique setting with superb hosts. Individual attention paid to each guest’s needs. Warm and helpful from start to finish. Recommended for any visitor interested in a roomy home base for a “walkable Jerusalem” vacation. No downsides at all!
I had a very good stay at the Templer Inn. I was particularly impressed with the efforts of the owners/staff to orient guests to both the area and logistical issues. They were also more than willing to address special requests. They have done an excellent job providing modern amenities within a building that is over 100 years old. And the Templer Inn is in a very nice and walkable area of Jerusalem. If it fits your budget, I would definitely recommend the Templer Inni as a place to stay during your visit to Jerusalem. Please keep in mind t he at each room is unique.
This is an excellent, family-run property with great facilities and amenities, in a great location. The rooms are nicely-sized suites, with a comfortable, "homey" feeling. The furniture is fine quality, as are the bedding and towels. The rooms are great places to relax or catch up on work/correspondence, etc.
The bathroom is very spacious and equipped with great shampoo and soap.
Kitchen facilities are compact and very useful for preparing light meals.
The breakfast is absolutely sumptuous as the hosts provide home-made breads, Mediterranean salads, excellent coffee to order (regular, cappuccino, espresso) and omelets according to order.
Location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the hotels in Yemin Moshe, Hechal Shlomo, Ben-Yehuda Street nightlife, Mamilla, and the Old City. It is also a short drive to the Golden Promenade overlook, with a breathtaking view of Jerusalem, including the Old City.
Alon and Revayah are excellent, friendly hosts, eager to make your stay very comfortable and full of good advice about Jerusalem. I would be happy to stay here again.
Alon and his wife were amazingly sweet. What a great spot. Room was just as described on the web. Very comfy bed, great couch, and an amazing coffee machines with endless capsules. Great breakfast with all the typical goodies and made to order eggs. They even welcomed our friends to join us for the complimentary breakfast. Great location. Much better than a typical hotel. Highly recommend.
We had an amazing stay!! Alon and his wife were so welcoming, make a delicious home cooked breakfast, and have a beautiful property that has been in their family for decades. Their updates and the great care and pride they take is very apparent.
Ultimately, you absolutely cannot beat the service we received. As an example, I’m so grateful to Alon for pre-arranging a taxi to pick us up from the airport in the middle of the night (3AM) for an outstanding price. His communication is quick, accurate, and put me at ease from the very start. The Templer Inn is an absolute gem!
The proprietors are lovely, welcoming, and very helpful.
The rooms are exactly as shown - a combination of modern with some lovingly restored antique accents that were the owner's grandmother who previously lived in the place before it was converted from a house to this lovely boutique hotel. A charming place to stay with equally charming hosts.
Super nice and helpful owners, very clean, outstanding breakfast, best located, good beds, new and clean bathroom, all needed facilities (AC, coffee maker, fridge, WiFi), impressive house with history.
Overall absolutely recommended!
A VERY pleasant atmosphere. Extremely friendly and efficient owners. Not a big hustling-bustling hotel. Wonderful breakfast served in a pleasant garden. Close to many places of interest (theaters, concert halls, museums) and to restaurant areas.
