"We had an amazing stay. It is a beautiful old home and is walking distance to most parts of the old Lijiang Town. The staff were extremely helpful in recommending things do and places to go. There great opportunities for us to mix around with the other guests and staff during the breakfast time to know more about the local community. I would strongly recommend this place if you like to stay in a cozy and homely place. "

"Our trip to Yunnan wouldn‘t have been made pefect without the stay in Banyan Tree Lijiang. The credit must go to the staff, Elin. Elin is always courteous and responsive. She has been very helpful all the time. She is also very caring and always checks with us to see if we have any need. We stayed there for a couple of nights and then went to other places of Yunnan. On the very last day of our trip, we went back to stay there. Elin went out her way to prepare a better villa for us. Even though she wasn’t on roster on the day we were there, she made sure that other staff were aware of what to do. When compared to other 5 star hotels (including other countries), this is the best customer service we have ever come across. Elin‘s service has made Banjan Tree Lijang stand out."

"It has been relaxed and cozy for my 4 nights stay with localized culture style. The bedding is comfy and cleanly fresh. I added one more night by paying in local currency. Staff are very helpful and nicely willing to support at all the time. Overall I have been very happy and impressed for my vacation in Lijiang. "
