“The room was very basic but had all we needed. Overall the experience was excellent due to the ambiance of being in the forest, experiencing the bay, and seeing the spider monkeys. The food was pretty good and staff were nice. I can see where this type of stay might not be for everyone but we are very glad we worked Puerto Barilla into our itinerary.”

“Nothing going on in that place, boring as hell. Everything closes at 08:30 pm and you can’t even sit in the facilities areas by the beach front since they kick you out. No room service and the food is terrible. Breakfast was the weakest breakfast I have ever had in any hotel internationally or in the states. No meats or poultry at all. Staff is not trained at all in customer service skills, you have to get the service out of them. Some were nice, unfortunately most were totally unaware that...
