Recommendable except for the parking

Not the most modern venue in Joensuu but clean and well maintained anyway. Location is excellent in downtown. Big disappointment was the hotel parking that was advertised as free. It was free but obviously too small for demand, so it was fully booked every evening. My room was big, especially the bathroom was about the size of a small hotel room. It was an "accessible room", although I did not ask for it. I consider it an upgrade. The breakfast was excellent to my taste.

The hotel and room were very nice. Breakfast was great. The only issue was paying for parking because the free lot was full.

Friendly staff but the bed was narrow and sunken in the middle leading to a bad night's sleep. One of the older Scandics.

Aikansa eläneet kupit ja tuolien verhoilut

Erittäin likaiset kahvikupit ja aterimet sekä tuolien istuinosat aamupalahuonessa. Aamupalan hedelmät eivät olleet tuoreita, eikä niitä selvästikään haluttu otettavan, vaan ne oli vain täyttämässä jotain velvollisuutta. Puuro oli vetinen ja mauton. Kaikenkaikkiaan heikkotasoinen aamiaiskokemus. Huoneessa oli myös erittäin likainen nojatuoli.
