Well-worn room, staff was courteous
Breakfast: waffles, 2 kinds of dry cereal with milk, plain bagels with butter and grape jelly, bananas, apple and orange juice, coffee
Signage in breakfast area admonished people to not take food to their rooms under penalty of losing their reservation.
Stairs (only way to my second floor room) needed vacuuming
Used women's restroom near breakfast nook: The door would not lock. There was no soap. Someone had left a small container of hotel shampoo which I used as soap for washing my hands.
Low price should have been my indication that all was not good at the Days Inn but we went with the reputation of Days Inn and thought that the location off the beaten trail was the reason for the low rate.
Good things included the softness of the towels and washcloths and the quick hot water to the room.
