Food is average, nothing “wow” unlike what some reviewers wrote. I came to Shima Onsen for the Onsen, but this onsen, which is really small and without much of a view, was sorely disappointing. "

"The building is old and everything is a little cramped. But the great thing are the hotel owners and staff. The lady is very accommodating and friendly and she did her best to accommodate our requests. The building is so near the mountain so we don't have to pay for additional parking and just walk from the hotel. We'd love to return there again for next New Year's skiing!"
