“Even though we only had 1 night here we really had a great stay at this resort. It was nice to sit on the balcony during the time we were here which gave us a beautiful view of the fjord. The apartment had everything we needed and there was a nice restaurant just by the resort . Next time we would like to stay here longer”

“Just stay here! Weve been travelling all over norway and i must say this was actually the best hotel we reserved. Beautiful original rooms, huge bath, impecable breakfast (must try their croissant and home made nutella). Oh and grab their strawberries too! The food was 10/10 we had dinner there every single night, and our server “Miko” was the best guide ever.”

“Highly recommend - it was the most beautiful place we stayed at during our Norway visit. Our property was right on the Oppstrynsvatnet lake. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and had all amenities - full kitchen, dining, iron, hair dryer. The house also had an in-house sauna in addition to a Panaroma sauna on the property. “Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!”

“Wir kamen von einer Radtour im Regen sehr nass zurück. Uns wurde sofort ein sehr warmer Trockenraum für all unsere Sachen angeboten, die am nächsten Tag komplett trocken waren. Das Diner- und Frühstücksbuffet hatten eine große Auswahl und es war sehr lecker. Einzig das Bad war renovierungsbedürftig.”
