“Inserted in the tropical cloud forest, this place is magic. The Toro Amarillo river taints the stones orange and gives a constant roaring, the congos haul to contrast with the crickets and cicada's background rhythm. But most of the healing comes from the hot, yellowish mineral spring water pool, alternating with the very cold, crystal clear spring water. While the cabins are rustic, the staff are all wonderful. We will come back for another “forest bathing”, and perhaps a zip-line adventure....

“The couple who owns the place was very nice, accommodating and friendly. You have to pay attention when you first arrive, as the area is not marked very well. the beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was perfect. ”

Three story type house. Kids loved the bunk at the top. Easy walk to town for food and groceries. We stopped here between drive from SJO and La fortune and stayed one night then went to blue falls great stop!! ”

“Gorgeous and unique property close to the Poas Nacional Park. The views were breathtakingly beautiful! We stayed in the Junior Dome and had a relaxing and zen like stay. The property was very cute and quiet in June. There was a nearby dog barking nonstop from a neighbor but not much you can do about that.”

“The property seems quite old and could benefit from some updates. The bed sheets did not feel very clean, and the blanket was shedding material, which made it uncomfortable to use. There was also no bedside table in the room, which would have been helpful. With better maintenance and attention to these details, the stay could be improved.”

“It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. There was almost no water pressure in the room, and the toilet was not functioning properly. We paid extra for the barbecue dinner, but the quality of the meat was quite disappointing. At 9:00 PM, the power went out.
