The location is very convenient for travelers - it’s right in the same building as train station with many shops and restaurants around. We had a restful and enjoyable stay for 3 nights. Btw, breakfast is excellent with freshly squeezed orange juice and all sorts of delicious, nutritious food.

Aomori is a nice small city. Hotel is about 2 blocks from waterfront which has nice boardwalk and sculptures. The Nebuta Museum is a few blocks away and is great. "Ekimae" means in front of the train station and it is! Walk right out the station and there's your hotel. Our room had a view of the station and the famous bridge. One blockfrom A-Market (good food, excellent view), the Nebuta Museum (muse see) and walking distance to most downtown locations. Easy transfer from Aomori Station to Shin-Aomori where you catch the Shinkansen (bullet train) back to Tokyo.
