Kabukicho, Tokyo hotel rooms at the Ishin

The room was perfect for my son and I and we really love the view.

Excellent hotel and suite. If time allows we’ll be staying here again later on our trip. Highly recommend. Exceptional decor and staff.

We are so glad we chose this hotel for our last night in Tokyo. Fantastic staff. Room was spacious with good amenities. Great bed. Blackout shades. Very quiet despite being on a busy street. Just a block away from the nearest train station, and free shuttle to the airport (Haneda).

Great location in Shinjuku and easy access to surrounding areas. Relatively close to Shinjuku station and not a far walk. Laundry is in the unit and the staff changes out towels and makes the beds every day. They also provide extra detergent pods if you run low. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Highly recommend this hotel.

The J-Mex is what the Japanese call a "Love Hotel" - a place where couples can go to meet and have a romantic time. As such, most guests stay for one night (or shorter). First stayed in Hotel Metropolitan Kawasaki in 2024, only knowing it was near the train station. Stayed again in 2025 knowing what I know now — and will certainly stay here again in the future. I loved this little gem of a hotel. The staff is lovely and the hotel is affordable and really clean. The walls are also super thick so you don’t hear the baseball games that might happen across the street. I also loved the location. The street is quiet but metro close and so many places walkable. Our stay at Hotel Niwa made our Japan trip exceptional! As American travelers in our early 30s, we found this place to be a gem in Tokyo. Clean , good service and great location

The room was spacious. The rooms were well supplied with soap, towels, and toiletries. The rooms were well cleaned every day. The negatives are the bed was not comfortable. The mattress was a futon. Also the room had no windows. The shower floor was marble and slippery.

This was a well-maintained hotel with wonderful staff. The room itself was lovely and has great amenities. The 3 twin room was surprisingly spacious for 3 people. The on-premises restaurant was great too. The location is quiet and spacious which is a nice change from the surrounding metro area. It is literally next to a train station so transit is a breeze. My only real complaint is that the laundry facility was too small. There were often 2 hour lines of folks waiting to get loads...

I always stay at Sotetsu Fresa Takadanobaba whenever I'm in Tokyo, and for good reason. Love this place and we will stay here again in the future. Room was amazing for three people with 3 single beds, fresh linen-and robe daily. Free breakfast with delicious pastries included. And oh, I missed the caffucino latte served as much as you want from Am till 10:00 pm. Our experience was great!

1 min. from the underground station and 1 stop to Haneda Airport terminal 3 . Very convenient for early flight , nice italian restaurant ang good food.

Found this hotel at random as I desperately needed to get out of my other booking. This place was a hidden gem. Rooms were nice, staff was extremely friendly and the service they offered was incredible
