Maybe we were the unlucky ones but we were welcomed with unswept floors, non-working toliet with a surprise from a previous unsuccessful flush, dead insects, and no hot water. “Die Unterkunft und die Anlage sind wunderschön, gepflegt und sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war frisch und für die Größe des Hotels war auch die Auswahl gut. Das einzige, das uns gestört hat, war dass die Zimmer recht hellhörig sind. Wir hörten die Aktivitäten der Gäste im darüberliegenden Zimmer ;)). In der Umgebung gibt es ein paar gute Tavernen und den Mikri Vigla Beach. Dieser ist allerdings sehr windig (daher auch für Windsurfer sehr beliebt).”

“The property was beautiful and so well-maintained. It is a family owned and operated property, and they have a full garden throughout the property where the guest rooms are. The staff and service were lovely and the beach in front of the hotel is beautiful. The food was also excellent - home cooked pies every morning! “We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Archon Seaside Retreat. Christos is a great host and showed us the main areas to visit when we first arrived. “Most relaxing stay at the quiet end of Plaka. Well run hotel. The most beautiful beach for swimmers! We were fine here for three nights without a car.
