"All of us (family of 4, kids aged 12 and 6) agreed that our vacation in Kauai was the best we've ever had together. A big part of that was our choice of accommodations. At first I was a bit worried about the price, but the joy we experienced and the quality of vacation we had proved it was the right choice. Great location, especially for a family like us that chooses to cook breakfasts and some dinners instead of dragging picky eater kids to restaurants, the facility and grounds were beautiful, sun rises over the ocean, easy proximity to all the island's attractions, and the wonderful pool and water slides. We all had a great time and I think a big part of that was "home base" of the Waipouli Beach Resort. Even having to spend a chunk of vacation evactuated due to the tsunami warning did not hamper our good time. :)"

"Amazing resort. The beach is part of the property which makes it really convenient. The little pool area with water slides for kids made our visit remarkable for our toddler. "

"The outrigger is centrally located to all the desirable sites on the island. Saves greatly on travel time. On site dining and very close to a variety of off site dining options. The resort is quiet, beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Staff is pleasant and helpful. I should be noted that one of the building is undergoing a full remodel so there was some construction noise on occasion.(Late July 2025) The beach is directly connected to the resort and there is easy access and fantastic views. The area at the resort is not really swimable, but safe areas are just a short walk up the beach. No lifeguard however. Parking is close but there is a daily fee. Would highly recommend."
